I really hope her next album is similar to B2B/Burlesque. Have y'all noticed her performances are different than before? She's actually singing the lyrics and not just doing random runs. She's also not overdoing it with the vocals; she holds back a little, which I love. With Xtina, less is more. 4

Is my second favorite after Stripped and the majority the fans love it, but also she loves it, you have three songs now in the Vegas show deal with it. She is delusional and obsessed with it flopage but calling it ahead of its time will not erase the fact that it is not a good album and the GP spoke loud and clear, they truly returned it to sender for being the mess that it is.

She was going thru a hard time with Jordan at the time because both of them cheated on each other. Also Perez Hilton the biggest blogger at the time turned the media against her and Christina didnt defend herself. She just kept quiet. I do believe had she gone over to the UK to promote the album like she originally plan it would have done good numbers there but instead she went to Italy with Jordan and gave up on Bionic. Some of us really like Bionic, including myself. Its my favorite album and i wish things would have turned differently but it is what it is.

Maybe someone else might know better but we don’t know much about the OG Bionic and nothing ever leaked really apart from those demos. Sure there were a few rumors like the album title being Light & Darkness and it also being another double disc album, songs like Venus and Kimono Girl and Glam being planned to be the lead single. I would love to hear some of her other stuff with Ladytron because I effing love them and “Velocifero” was one of my fave albums of 2009 and it got me so hyped for Light & Darkness/Bionic… only for her to come up with NMT.

Lift Me Up on the album is a ballad but has a downtempo feel which falls into the electronic music umbrella so i think it fits perfectly in Bionic.

Which is good for every other artist but not for someone of Christina's caliber. She went out her way to modify her artistic DNA and ended up losing the interest and support of her original fanbase that used to be a mixture of Whitney and Mariah fans and the late 10's and early 20's youth of that time.

I think flopping with something a bit more alternative/unground can be excused but the way the project backfired even with something clearly made for the charts was a kii. Yeah NMT may be a bop but it wasn’t what you’d expect from a Christina freaking Aguilera comeback, especially right after an album like Back to Basics. We know our girl is a risk taker and I love her for that but I wouldn’t really consider NMT that much of a risk.
