After (what I thought) was flirting, I finally told him I liked him and he heart emoji’d my text and left me on read. After feeling the sting, i knew the next thing I had to do was come celebrate BMS with my sisters. Imma just dance through the pain y’all. This why this song exists. You won't break my soul I'm tellin' everybody, na, na Everybody Ok, but what's his at?

Someone pointed out in the BMS thread all the other celebs that have videos and albums releasing within this week that will push their songs even further and the song seems to be slowing down on radio already. It’s a gamble to wait to promote a single after 4 weeks of releasing it. :/ Also, in my opinion the smart thing would have been to have BMS visual be the promo for the “movie” album. Similar to how formation was released prior to lemonade. That added the extra hype. Remember that some visuals are heavily context dependant. If its based of a narrative, BMS video may give spoilers away or not be so great in isolation. Its in the middle of the album unlike formation which is verging on credit/bonus song. She could have picked BMS as single one because of its simplicity and it being an agreeable song to begin the era sonically, where the intention was never to push it with visuals/promo etc.
benyonce Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 The time from us deciphering whack ass clues to now has gone so fast. The remaining days are going to fly. Especially if she comes hard a week prior and gives us more content. With the fickle attention span of the GP these days I think going all out with a week left is the best way to go. I've organised a party for the release day with all my friends and my giant disco ball is on its way . I also have a projector set up so this bish better not embarrass me with no visuals As far as HDD set up predictions go I'm gonna stick with underestimating and worst case scenarios until this "rollout" they've alluded to eventuates. Lets say 10k US from the exclusive vinyls 10k (worst case) between the 4 poses 10k from the other retailers combined 10k from iTunes pre-order Another 10k minimum from iTunes first week Plus whatever else she has coming and that is at minimum, a 50k head start on her side projects. Assuming BMS is the top of her range for daily streaming numbers, let's say all 16 songs averaged out do around half what BMS did plus what BMS it self will contribute to the opening, I really don't see her doing anything below 250k. I'm no expert but I feel confident in that the conservative estimates are already a massive success, let alone if she exceeds our expectations (not HDD's unrealistic ones).
Likingstars Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 I was talking to this guy and we really hit it off, we went on 3 different dates in a week and then he went on vacation in another country for 3 weeks. He said he would send me a postcard but so far I hasn’t received any. He will be back in the states this weekend and I’m nervous does he still think about me? Was it just a 1 week thing? Could we pick up where we left off? All I know that there’s a chance i might be blasting BMS throughout this weekend
Otter Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 (edited) The dust has settled and going by the Spotify numbers this should of been the official Lemonade Singles roll out: 1. Hold Up 160m 2. Daddy Lessons 80m 3. 6 Inch 60m 4. Freedom 58m 5. All Night 67m (sentimental single to close the era) Sorry's 120m streams isn't impressive since it was pushed as the lead single and had a video released in a timely manner. So don't @ me If she released Lemonade on Netflix/Youtube in 2019, all of these numbers would be double what they currently are. Edited July 12, 2022 by Otter
Mr. Specialist Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Horrible radio update today for Break My Soul

Edit: I just checked and both Charli Puths new song as well as Harrys new song has bad updates (even worse than BMS updates). Maybe it was a weak radio day overall? Edited July 12, 2022 by *-ChriZ-*
ShouldersSideways Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 I’ve actually fully given up on a BMS visual and I’m at peace with it. Not even reverse psychology. I’m trusting all will work out in the end and make sense because I really don’t even care if we get it anymore.
Mitsouko Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 A fave who understands the assignment! To hold us over until Renaissance Day!

Yeah, it seems to have been a slow radio day across the board. Either way, a positive update most definitely isn't a "horrible day".

Bad Rhythmic and Pop day, we had a couple of those on Urban last weekend which obviously didn’t affect Harry nor Kate. Kate still got away with a great pop update tho. Bey still got the second biggest audience increase of the top 20 and positive spins in every format, so it’s fine.

PrettyHurts Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 I fear BMS may have peaked, but the meltdowns have not
6_INCH_HEELS Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 This is by far her worst album roll out simply for the fact they they led us to believe things would be different this time. LMAO

And some delulus thought radio solely was going to make this a massive US hit when it's plummeting on streaming. It's stable at least and bigger elsewhere? It did its job and brought Bey a lot more exposure... like what +12 million Spotify monthly. Maybe it'll peak debut week.

The dramatics already its still, regardless of what u or anyone in the base says, her so far best charting solo song since Best Thing I Never had in 2011 without any effort on her part and while changing her sound completely. Calm down, enjoy the ride, 2.5 more weeks and we MADE IT! Edited July 12, 2022 by *-ChriZ-*

They are not ready for the gay bawps I fear.
satellites.™ Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Beys update was one of the few positives actually, so no, its a bad RADIO day, not Beyonce day.
