Maybe not the song itself to some people, but the song/Oscars performance definitely ushered in a new Beyonce for the 2020s (Beyonce 4.0) and that cannot be argued: Her first collaboration of many with DIXSON, first collaboration since Dreamgirls with choreographer / movement director Fatima Robinson, introduction of the horse motif (teasing the trilogy), finally got her the elusive Oscar nomination, and her performance style smartly became 60/40 vocals and choreography instead of her old 50/50.
