Do yall prefer the beyince shoot or the reshoot? :cupid:

both have their perks but idk the reshoot gives more high budget

the beyince shoot gave "we on set anyways, lets snap some pics" tease :foxaylove2:

The Beyince shoot >>>>>

I'm not feeling the horse aesthetic and at this point, it doesn't make sense. Perhaps it'll come together when we get the visuals (in 2045) but it just seems sloppy and unfocused. The Beyince shoot ties in nicely with the Reneigh album cover (both power poses but positioned against a black background).

I'm confused how the reshoot and REN don't tie in together when the cover and back covers match s:wan:

But act ii BEYINCÉ is a slay none the less

Mess, I just saw where a reporter asked her about the visuals at TLK premiere and all she said was "No" lol

It was an AI voice. Nobody asked her that

I feel like the horse aesthetic was kinda needed to bring home the entire point of the album. The beyince looks and sets dont entirely give "country album" vibes, only partially imo :cupid:

I am shocked CIL and irreplaceable aren't diamond. There is no way DIL should have the same cert as those two bonified smashas

If the RIAA counted ringtone sales, Irreplaceable would 100% be diamond by now. It's one of the best selling ringtones in the US.

Now this is a news stock photo I can get behind! They usually pick the strangest / blandest ones of her

Yeah, something has to be coming. Has to.

Artists, in general, only do these mass certifications (which they/their label have to pay for) when they are looking to use them in press releases for new ish..

Playing Devil's advocate, it could just be a savvy whoosh of good press heading into Halftime. Plus, the timing (given the "other" Carter headlines) may also make this more of a general "good press" play. But I really think it's something more.

Primarily, because we Chart Hive have noted how under-certified her ish has been. Despite a slew of new albums, she's let her releases sit under-certified for YEARS. IMO, her doing this midway through a three-act arc would be too random to be... nothing.

That thread is AWFULLY quiet too lmao!!! And here come the Swifties with their excuses AGAIN. :deadbanana2:

And this is with just her SOLO career. Imagine if Bey gave AF about her singles post-Lemonade. She's probably have like 5 Diamond singles by now. Not only that but I feel IASF should be Diamond too. But it's okayyyy.

The fact that she's still so high UP with only 8 albums (3 where she completely stoped promoting the traditional way these other girls do) is insanneee!

Now if we add Destiny's Child tooo… oohhh the girls are DUST! :deadbanana2:

Hi. Just came to say I hope Beyoncé can see from the Chris Brown concerts that performing here in South Africa would be ideal for her. She would sell out the same stadium five times over. Like it would be such an event :jonny5:

and congrats on the diamond certifications Queen.

THIS!

I'm annoyed at the pandemic for many reasons, but one of the main things is that it prevented us from seeing what (if anything) she had up her sleeve to promote The Gift.

A one-off show or limited run of shows in Africa, solely performing the album with guest appearances from the features would have been...chef's kiss. Her Whitney Live From SA moment.

The overall OTRII show/era was so uninspired (compared to her usual ish), so I was annoyed she used her "Africa moment" for that.

Maybe another time.

Cue a little delulu...but...

Spoiler

I've also been thinking a lot about what Pharrell said about having something special coming with her.

Interestingly, his name was tied to the Mufasa soundtrack. Press release and all. Yet it's out and he has no credits. It's also mysteriously only 7 tracks, which is like half an album.

Delulu hot take is that a surprise "EP" or collection of tacks that "completes" the existing album could drop with the film on Friday. Surely I'm not alone in remembering semi-recent murmurs about Bey doing more Afro music?

Logic has me thinking the Pharrell thing simply fell through and she would never convolute the wrap up of the yeehaw era.

We'll see.
