I was sort of with you in the first two sentences but the rest of the paragraph went left :clownny:

That seems to be a recurring pattern with them

If she were 55 years old, I wouldnt say anything. But seeing how shes still more than capable, yet behind ******* Peso Pluma and KHALID is not only a disgrace, its embarrassing.

The fact a certain Lady is in front of her is just the icing on the cake.

Bey is truly so forgotten musically speaking, its quite sad

Arrogance and being complacent - the deadly curses of Bey

Drag me but I’ve thought deep about Beyoncés popularity being timed perfectly due to opportunities given. Her debut was a SMASH no doubt. Her sophomore era was a SMASH no doubt. These were both organic moments. I think all the grand opportunities after those two eras really cemented her fame. If she didn’t get these opportunities at the right time then she may have fell off like her peers. What opportunities?

1. The first black president of the United States, asking her to sing at his first dance. The whole country watched it. It’s not a coincidence that single ladies slowly climb the charts to number one around this time. 2. Performing at Oprah‘s final show. Sure run the world flopped on the charts but the whole world knows the song probably because of that episode that everyone watched.

3. Michelle Obama speaking so highly about Beyoncé during out the entire presidency, and asking her to sing the national anthem during Obamas reelection. The whole country watched. 4. Being asked to perform the Super Bowl halftime show the year after Madonna. I believe this is why self-titled smashed so hard. If she never performed at the Super Bowl, but still surprised, dropped her album I believe it wouldn’t have done so well. 5. Returning for the 50th halftime show as a surprise guest and announcing her tour immediately after. I believe this performance + tour announcement + cheating scandal is wild, lemonade, debuted so high despite not being on streaming platforms. The whole country was thinking about her at the time of the release of the album, the same way with self titled. Performing for Hillary Clinton in 2016 also gave her more visibility. Beyoncés career stopped putting focus on sales after I am Sasha fierce and put all the focus in big performance opportunities and releasing a project not too long after that. Renaissance was her first album dropped without a stunt or big event months prior and showed her true numbers. And those numbers weren’t bad at all. But those numbers will continue to dwindle if she stops trying altogether. Press is important. PR is important.

I’d also like to add that yesterday, a song by an artist artist named benson boom showed up on my Spotify shuffle. I went to his account and saw he had 14 million listeners and his top song had more streams than BREAK MY SOUL. The song came out last year. I highly doubt he charted. Streaming has changed so much about music. You could make a hit song and be completely nameless.

Just wanna point out that USA Today removed the listing for being a Beyoncé reporter, you think they realized there would be nothing to report on?

This is why there are people with billions of streams that no one cares to pay them real money to see them perform live...(which is more important)

Why are you using Olivia Rodrigo vocabulary in this base?

My biggest concern for Bey isn't even just that her recurrents are bad. If that was always the case it would be whatever and just unfortunate reality. It is the fact that she used to be the ****** LEADER of EVERYONEEEEEE on Spotify when it came to recurrents. 4 used to be outstreaming LOUD, Teenage Dream, The Fame Monster etc.  Halo was MILES above other pop girls recurrent streams in daily, and I mean it literally used to chart on Global Spotify in 2018 for no reason (yes not just V'Day which it don't even re-enter for now) doing +1M :rip: She was basically Taylor before Taylor. Somehow she has seen a massive decline in back catalog relevance and that is worrying asf.

Tragique! Beyoncé is number #43, I don’t care what the bootlickers say.  Eminem, lame ass KANYE, Shakira, Nicki, Rihanna(hasn’t even had an album out in 7 years),  daddy yankee, all ahead of her. :gaycat6:

Is it really that serious when Ed Sheeran, who is #5 in that list, had an album just a few months ago that completely bombed? Yet he has 20 million more listeners than her.

Does anyone know if that no drinking allowed for all dancers rumor was true? I was looking at one of the dancers Tiktok’s and she was high on edibles. I wonder if that’s against the rules.
