Tripthelight Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Beyoncé is and will always be considered both a legend and an icon in the Black community. It’s been clear to me for some time that’s all that matters to her, and I’m not at all mad at it. Spoiler Still can’t stand her neglectful *** for this boring era.

Mitsouko Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 ATRL is still the only place I've seen the legend vs icon arguments The GP uses them interchangeably come on now 5
SashaDevachelli Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Do we think the visuals will drop this time on Halloween? Second time’s the charm! 1
HausofArtpopII Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Do we even think the visuals will ever drop? 2

Dark ages? Medievalssance? I’m not sure… this album so flawless it can’t even get a proper flop nickname. Yes I know this post is very Fleahive coded but I’m bored Dark Ages eats ngl. 1

Diana, Madonna, Luther and TINA are actually referred to as LEGENDS and PIONEERS in the real world. Now maybe in your circle, taylor swift might be called a legend, but that does not represent the actual scale, colour and range of people in the world. Taylor also has a lot of songs that are "crickets" depending on where you actually play them. So yes, BEYONCE is a legend, she is seen as one in the REAL WORLD and no amount of streams, lakes and rivers will change that. I am every woman, it’s all in me! First, I personally find them to be legends. Second, not everyone else will think of them that way. Third, let me clock your delusional backside with RECEIPTS Madonna “Madonna is currently busy preparing for her The Celebration Tour, which is slated to begin in mid-October in London. As the pop icon continues rehearsing for one of the most highly-anticipated tours in recent memory, one of her recent singles is still performing well on the charts, and it is quickly catching up to some of her biggest hits.” https://www.forbes.com/sites/hughmcintyre/2023/09/18/madonnas-new-single-ties-vogue-as-fans-keep-it-charting/amp/ Luther ”R&B Giant Luther Vandross” https://www.npr.org/2005/07/01/4727263/r-b-giant-luther-vandross-dies-at-54 Diana “Diana Ross, a true musical and cultural icon who has been gracing the Billboard charts for 60 years, lit up Radio City Music Hall with her ineffable presence on Thursday (July 29).” https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/diana-ross-radio-city-concert-nyc-1235365243/amp/ Tina “Tina Turner, the music superstar whose career spanned five decades, has died at 83 years old. Her death was confirmed to CBS News by her spokesperson, Bernard Doherty, on Wednesday afternoon.” https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/tina-turner-dead-83/ And while we can all shade Taylor’s (lack) of talent, the reality is the GP actually knows her music and can sing the lyrics. Meanwhile we’ve been stuck with “baby I can see your halo” for over a decade. She needs to promote her music, otherwise she will fade into obscurity the moment she stops touring since clearly people are not streaming her music like her contemporaries 2
Anvarie Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 Let’s remind ourselves that some of the Hive in here wants to convince us to NOT want performances like this. Like hello are y’all on drugs or something? 3
ICLDXU4HS Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 What kind of pesto do you guys think she likes the most? 2
Weld_E Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 After getting into Beyonce almost a year ago and taking my time to familiarize with her discography, here is my album ranking that no one asked for: 1. Lemonade 2. BEYONCE 3. Renaissance 4. Bday 4. Crazy in Love 5.IASF 6. 4 I will finally see her next week in NOLA and I am beyond excited! 1

There are people that sing LOVE ON TOP, DRUNK IN LOVE etc loudly and proudly. As i said, just cause some of the GP (white people to be exact) are stuck on halo does not represent the EVERYONE. Lets stop with that pls. Also, i could easily post 5 separate articles where those people you mentioned were referred to as legends..but with a simple google search you will find that yourself. If you don't like how beyonce does her thing, so stan someone else, taylor is looking for more people to sing off-key with her. Do that and stop questioning beyonce legendary status. 2

There is a point in my life where I thought that she would be talked about beyond her time on earth the way Michael Jackson or Elvis are. But the way that she has maneuvered her career the past few years has ruined her chances at being remembered forever. It’s like she doesn’t want to be remembered anymore. Like if she passed at 90 years old would they even dedicate the main part of the Grammys death tribute to her at this point? She might as well get a 2 second picture like the forgotten drum and bass players from the 1950s. I think she will always be a black legend but she will quickly lose steam world wide when she actually retires.

Beyoncé is number #43, I don’t care what the bootlickers say. Eminem, lame ass KANYE, Shakira, Nicki, Rihanna(hasn’t even had an album out in 7 years), daddy yankee, all ahead of her. Katy is the most embarrassing to me tbh. The rest makes sense. Everyone calls her a flop and that she fell off but she stay ahead of bey in every category besides billboard charts which feel meaningless nowadays 1
Anvarie Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 but let me listen to atrl user kingdom educate me about withholding your music not affecting your legacy 1
