I also assumed clarity, sex and incline were about him because they follow the same theme but I suppose they are about Ricky? Or none of them are about anyone lol.

A lot of times "leaks" aren't really leaks they're either published to test the waters or, in this case she prolly saw us complaining online so she decided to release a bunch of unfinished stuff so we would shut up 

I haven't listened to any leaked song, I'm not a fan of listening to leaks usually, and I don't want to ruin my hype for her comeback

you're not missing anything! most of them are unfinished or very early demos. a few are full songs, but most aren't anything memorable.

Most of the leaked songs are either not finished or were meh, she’s really smart when it comes to decide what to release and what to keep, also I wouldn’t be surprised if this leaks are either her or her team

Basically. Ariana didn't write Better Off. Kaydence played it to her in July 2016. She had no interest in using it or any of the other Kaydence/Hit-Boy tracks like "My Way".

 

But then after her and Mac broke up while she was preparing to put out Sweetener, her and Kaydence re-linked up via Tommy and she decided it now resonated with her.

 

Everytime was written with all the other Max songs in early 2018 when their relationship was falling apart.

 

Sweetener started as a love letter to Mac and then them breaking up right as it was coming out saw her try and reclaim it (tossing a song called "pete" on it at the very last minute). 

 

"Sex" seems to be about Ricky and sounds like it's from Spring 2016. Post-DW being done but pre-Sweetener really formatting itself. It sounds like it's from the same time as when she did the extended version of Knew Better Part 2 about Ricky.

Nah, her team is taking a lot of them down. Her camp isn't the source. They should just let them float online though since most of them are just work tapes / chorus ideas. Something like Like That / Jada got enough popularity just from being so good. And outtakes like Ridiculous have gotten similarly popular over the years.

 

A lot of the scraps have bits that could go viral on TikTok.

Thanks for clearing that up! So I guess 'clarity' and 'incline' were about Ricky too? 

I can't believe that Ariana talked so much about Pete's size that she popularized the term BDE in 2018 and yet says in 'no free promo' that he didn't even make her finish.
