We got 6 albums in under a decade how are y'all so dissatisfied? Once the new album drops, whenever that happens, I'm sure she'll show face again. I think she decided that she needed a break from being constantly connected to everything which is something that everybody goes through. I have no doubt that the next album will be on another level because of the time she's taking to grow. My only problem is nobody makes music even remotely similar to her so music is kinda boring right now. Ugh, she really is that girl.

i have enough music from her to survive the wait, i still listen to positions and the singles from TUN/sweetener pretty often. 

 

i get what y’all are saying with wanting more content with the era but that’s not really something i care about tbh. like the music videos and performances we got for positions were more than enough for me personally

3) Speaking of projects she abandoned, Don't Look Up, anybody else would've campaigned hard after getting to know they were in the Oscar talk. She gave us a half assed performance on The Voice of all slots and didn't even bother to attend the Premiere or any of the awards she was up for. 

 

4) She stopped interacting with fans, deleted Twitter, doesn't use TikTok properly/for anything but commercial videos, can't even post on Instagram anymore, her feed is a mess and she hasn't bothered to update her fans about anything for ages, the fact that we got to know that she wasn't making an album through a random rem beauty video tutorial is.. shocking.

 

And don't get me wrong she has every right to distance herself from her fans but the bond she had with her fanbase (her being THE celebrity who interacted and followed fans on Twitter, the garage m&gs, hanging with fans, making them listen to her music, always interacting on social media etc) were a big part of her brand and a reason why people connected with her, if you take that out, take the music out and add a lazy beauty brand, nothing good is gonna come out of it, good for her she doesn't care though.

Does anyone think she will do the sb halftime show in the next few years?  The superbowl airs on NBC & Wicked is a Universal production...it would be great promo for Wicked if she headlines the halftime show in 2024 and gets that mass exposure to the GP before Wicked is released at the end of that year.

I honestly don't see it happening, her awards performances are her worst ones (bar SYT remix which is her best performance ever, God knows what happened in her that day), I don't know how she would deal with Super Bowl considering it's the most watched and scrunitized performance of the year. She said she disliked the Honeymoon Tour cause she had to be up that chandelier/cloud for a song and it gave her anxiety. Super Bowl needs confidence, production and commitment, all things she hasn't showed for years now.

Thankfully, Ariana went with her instinct and made positions the lead. Maybe she knows what she's doing after all (or not).
positions really is the quintessential Ariana song. Addictive melody, stacks on stacks of harmonies, easy to listen to, Pop&B perfection, a vocal climax, and insane replay value. It's aging like the finest of wines really, among all of her singles.

anyways due to unforeseen events it looks like atrl will be one of the few tolerable places on the internet for a while so let's distract ourselves with our ag7 wish lists 

 

I want 13 tracks, 3 collabs max, 4 singles and music videos and a few (i'll be fine with 1 or 2) tv performances, I also want a tour. The rollout should be: lead q4 2022, 2nd single a week before the album in q1 2023 and then she can promote the album and its singles thoughout q2.

 

Now, y'all may say i'm a dreamer but I will put my faith in my #sister

I think the movies will be filmed back to back, but yeah that doesn't change the fact i was aiming a lil too high

My perfect "realistic" (not for her) wish would be:

 

Start of April 2023: lead single (something like Motive x Promiscuous) - BBMAs performance

 

Mid June 2023: second single

 

End of July: album release (let people pick the next two singles and playlist them/send them to radio at the same time)

 

August/September: music videos and full promo for single number 3 and 4

 

At least 2 performances for the first two singles during the roll-out, possibly one of the last singles should be the signature hit ballad (that we were robbed of with the POV fiasco) and it should get a proper good performance at AMAs, Grammys or something, no ugly VEVO performance with leather pants. 

 

Also I would really want her to focus on her international fans a bit, she's huge in Asia and Latin America but they get nothing from her, she should do even just one performance and interview per continent just to show them that she's not gone for good. It's not a coincidence that her biggest albums in Asia are her first three as she has paid them dust ever since. Her TUN/Positions sound isn't very appealing to any of these continents nor Europe, basically just the USA, if you add the lack of promo you get the GP and fans losing interest.

 

Sound-wise: Motive x Promiscuous, In Your Eyes (The Weeknd), Adore, Love Language, Love On Top (Beyoncé), Goodnight n Go. I think The Weeknd kind of pop music would fit her amazingly, but it should be happier and not dark like his.
