On one hand she made TUN in just a few weeks so we could potentially get an album this year but on the other hand it’s kinda obvious that she is completely focused on Wicked… I don’t think she’ll start working on AG7 until Wicked is completely filmed  

 

Hopefully we get an album and tour next year because I can imagine her wanting to start a family soon… AG8 in 2026 at the very earliest confirmed

If she takes a huge ass break for Wicked and it ends up being a complete PANNED FLOP MOVIE  it would end up as one of her worst decisions ever….

Moving on from the meltdowns about AG7….

Its nice to see Cynthia and her bonding so much, they look like actual friends, she has talked so much about Ariana in her interviews and they tag each other a lot on IG, just today she has tagged Ariana in two stories , makes me excited for her chemistry and dynamic in Wicked, both vocally and acting wise

That's the thing about Ariana, I think she actually makes friends through work. She seem to actually know stuff about people.

exactly, like I understand her being married and wanting to focus on that and her acting career, but atleast give your fans something before you semi-retire. I guess she thought those vevo performances were enough to hold us over for a while, but still...

And tbh I would've preferred if she played megara instead of doing wicked, but I guess she likes wicked more and it seems the hercules movie is not being made anytime soon

i cant say im shocked that she hasn't started ag7. she's given absolutely no reason for us to think she has. the only crumbs we've got was nile rodgers talking about working with her and john legend, so...

 

she seems very happy and content though and if she was gonna ditch music for a while, starring in the wicked movie is a good reason to do that. and hopefully by the time the wicked movie wraps, she'll feel ready and inspired to go make a great album. i mean, the first wicked release is over two and a half years away so after they film, there's still plenty of time for her to make and release something great. and id much rather wait a little longer for a really great album, rather than her just throwing out some uninspired rehash of things she's done before.

 

also i think people are being a bit dramatic in here with the "she's over" stuff and acting like this is so crazy and shocking. first off, her last album was october 2020 which wasn't even two years ago, and in 2021 she released a deluxe edition and the syt remix, so it's barely been a year since she last released something. since her debut in 2013 she has dropped 6 studio albums and countless collabs, singles, christmas music, etc etc in 8 years.... compare that to people like beyonce, gaga, etc who dropped around that same amount of music in much longer time periods. i think she's earned the right to step away from pop music for a little while and explore other avenues that interest her.

 

and a lot of her stans seem to forget that she isn't some rising pop star who has to prove herself with chart and commercial success anymore. like when twitter stans drag her for not promoting like dua lipa and stuff like that... dua is on her 2nd album, when ariana was on her 2nd album she WAS promoting like that. she put in her time playing the game. im not saying i dont wish she would still do more sometimes, put more effort into rollouts and her eras, but she is who she is, and she's stated many times that she doesn't care about doing that anymore.

i think ur right. i hope this time away from music gives her the time to really give us something fresh and exciting for ag7. i enjoyed positions as an album but i want her to explore new topics, themes, and sounds for her next album, so if she needs more time to get inspired and do other things in the meantime i get it.

 

tbh i'm hoping for a collab album with abel. it's probably never going to happen but remember scooter posted that ig story of him face timing with abel and doja's manager hinting at something? and everyone was assuming it was about ariana joining one of them for coachella...well that never happened so i'm curious what he was hinting at... watch it be about justin. 

 

ughh..it really sucks being a beyoncé and rihanna stan. ariana was the one holding it down since rih decided to become an avon lady and bey can't be bothered.
