ariananext Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 I just realized she could potentially have one of the longest charting hits among MPGs with STM charting every year 3
Jude Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 I hope on DW 10 year anniversary, if there are no competition, they release unreleased songs and release signed CDs and vinyls for a chance to peak at #1. 2
Gerardo Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Looks like we will be getting ES deluxe with a new music video (and maybe single?) I think this rollout will help the album have good longevity on the billboard 200 1
wantedyoutogrow Posted January 1 Posted January 1 idk if y'all noticed that but in all of the posts in which she has teased the new MV it kinda seems like she is wearing outfits from the TBIM video 1
perfectillusion204 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Just saw a video clip of Focus on Twitter and it got me mad. It's a terrible song (specifically the post chorus). I know they were going for Problem 2.0. Her hair color was a choice. But that song wasted the hype for the DW era. Do we know if she wanted Focus as a single or was it more pushed by the label? It was also such a weird time to release a new song. Just terrible decisions all around for this bad song lol. I'm glad she was able to redeem herself with DW though.

I'm glad she was able to redeem herself with DW though. I'm not sure, but I remember her saying that they purposely wanted to make a Problem 2.0, so I guess it could have been a decision made by her label, but she probably likes Focus too, otherwise she wouldn't have released it as a (former) lead single. To be honest, I always adored Focus. I get why people are mad at the chorus and the shouting, but I personally have never been bothered by it. I think it is a certified bop and the music video is fierce too. One of her best actually. Also the single cover? Literally her best. The colors, the silver hair, the iconic pose, the font, everything 4
mxoonlight Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Focus such a simpler time. Fighting Donutgate backlash and her promoting the song like she wrote the Magna Carta 5

ariananext Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Why did her team think she looked good with that hair dress and make up last night, not a single good choice, not even the shoes

mxoonlight Posted January 4 Posted January 4 On a more positive note, it's so incredible seeing her run through early bits of award season. We blinked and it's already here Even though it's more or less just a bunch of rich people largely patting themselves on the back and we the masses being expected to join in, I do still feel proud of Ariana even though I don't know her. I'm proud that we were already early adopters to her and recognized her talent even when most people thought she was vapid, interchangeable and one-dimensional. I'm excited to see what she does next and ready to see Wicked to the end this year. 3 1
wildsidenormani Posted January 5 Posted January 5 is anyone else also really nervous for the golden globes tonight? i was reading the gold derby best supporting actress thread and it seems like a golden globe win is a prerequisite to be taken seriously at the oscars. really hoping they don't play in mother's face
