Yeah, I think you were one of the last people to snatch the box set from the February batch. Now it's saying April for all remaining sales.

 

I can't believe it's selling that well at that price. I don't know how much control Adele has on ticket and album prices, but they've really been pushing it this year.

Yeah I checked my order and it says I am in the February release, phew. I wonder how much they originally had in stock and how much they are willing to sell

Maybe since they didn't tell us the exact release date yet they're still undecided on how big they want this release to be. And will we get the concert film also? That would boost the album sales for sure.

 

Ngl, I've been hoping for a live album from Adele for a long time, but I want it to be a wide release, not "limited." I hope they see the demand now and give us more than just this vinyl box.

Yes, in Indonesia. They love her down there. 
 

Also, Send My Love is up at #146 on the US Shazam chart.

 

Tiktok really matters now, and Adele not being there still is a mistake, imo. Some of the choices her team made in this era give boomer vibes. They need to hire some gen z people.

The biggest issue, I think, is the exclusivity to vinyl. I don't think most people have a record player, especially the more casual music listeners, which has always been Adele's main audience.

 

Ngl, I'm kinda tired of everything Vegas related. The best time to release the concert film, and the live album, would have been last year.

Let's hope something will go on streaming! They didn't announce the exact release date for the live album yet, so when they do that, I hope we'll get more information.

 

There was a message on the website yesterday that said "due to overwhelming demand, we are working for a second release in April," meaning the vinyls. But I hope seeing the demand, and people complaining about the price, makes them put it on streaming, too.

I just noticed that if you visit the shopuk or shopeu.adele.com page, it shows you a popup message asking you to sign up, saying, "Want to access exclusive deals? Sign up to receive access to latest updates and best offers."

 

That would make no sense if Adele really went away now. Like, what updates? What are they planning?

Someone on Twitter pointed out that if you watch the video she posted on Instagram where the box set is opened up, when it flips through the book, you can see her signature in white on the back cover.  Not sure if it's just printed on or if she did actually sign them, but if she did, then I'll have a much easier time getting behind that $400 price point, to be honest. I still think that's a ridiculous cost, but it would justify the higher price at least a little more.

Yes I saw that as well, that would be a cute lil surprise and would totally justify the cost. If it was marketed as signed... well none of us would have it
