What That doesn't make any sense. The construction needed to build up this stadium is insane. Not to mention the need for related infrastructure. It's essentially pointless for artists to carry a big stadium instead of doing their shows in one that's already built.

(hopefully South America next, Brazil is way overdue a show) they said on the road so it might be in Europe as well? I think they have a deal with a stadium in Brazil with the festival or something?

supertiffany Posted August 28 Posted August 28 will Sony be able to force Adele to record a new album, doubt they made their wanted earnings from 30 unless they also get tour earnings too?

I don't know how stadiums work in general but I'm assuming they have to either pay a fee to hold a show in their facilities or they get a percentage of the box office. 1

She also spoke about doing a worldwide tour with the next album which has me thinking she has a date in mind for when she wants to start the next era.

The amount of work that is needed to build up this stadium is only offset if it's a significantly longer engagement, though. I'd guess that if she were to do, let's say, 10 Wembley dates, she'd have to do 3x-4x more in the "pop-up" stadium (or even more) to break even on the facilty fees. And to think that they need to transport this as well, with the site selection hassle (I'd imagine there's not a lot of space around major cities that are insanely well-connected like Munich Messe is) and other construction needed for this… this just doesn't make any sense. That being said, the business side of this truly fascinated me when seeing this in person. Even with the skyrocketing ticket prices and merch + F&B sales, I'd imagine it is still a heavily subsidized production by the City of Munich. 1

You can see all the songs streaming numbers every day here https://adelespotify.com/streams/tracks I fear her streaming numbers will drop next month. It's gonna take more than just these shows at Munich to get her streams up permanently.

Adele Addict Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Is anybody going to the last two Munich shows? I'm DYING to get one of those 21 hoodies and a copy of the program book, but haven't seen any hoodies sold online and the books are being sold for $200+ on eBay.

You should ask this on Twitter actually. They should sell the merch online as well.

I thought about it, but I'm pretty much completely off Twitter at this point. I'll search around and see if I can come across one somewhere. I'm less concerned about the book, but I have yet to see anybody selling any of the album hoodies. They should REALLY sell that stuff online, the fans would go crazy for it! There's no merch on her website at the moment, which I honestly kind of hate. Hopefully they'll add whatever's left over to the website once the Munich shows are done.
