Despite countless threads and comments insisting that "Adele is over," her latest album 30 is (at this point) the best selling pure album in the United States.

 

 

So what is the truth?

I mean... She's the last big artist to release and is known for big a big pure seller. The opposite would've been surprising.

She's not really a streaming artist though, as you and other taylor fans have established again and again in countless threads. She is a pure album sales seller. LOL

Ok but by the same point in time 25 had done 17M units worldwide while this has done barely above 5M. It's still a huge decline for her. She got demoted from Michael Jackson status to just another successful pop star.
