That’s huge

Remember that ATRL thread where they try to shade her by not selling vinyls :dies:

I'm not a Swiftie, but aren't these shipments? That's so different from actual sales. Like Adele could have had the biggest flop album of all time and have sold 0 of these and IFPI would still say the same thing. I don't get it...

Hi @TimberI am a Swfitie and yes these are shipments

We know it includes shipments, but the pesky Taylor fans only have a problem with Adele's shipments when their fave and everybody else's numbers include shipments too.

But we already know that Adele was the only one who was struggling to sell her shipments based on multiple reports of massive discounts form so many stores. Meanwhile Taylor's Red has chronically been out of stock.

In 2021? So they printed even more vinyl while this place was dragging the 500K order? :lmao:

Adele sold all the 500k that were shipped based on her label's report and those "massive discount" reports were basically from 2-3 walmart stores in US, she may not have sold all her shipments so far but these hags are acting like she didn't sell anything...

Also Taylor's are only out of the stock on her website, the vinyls and cd can be bought anywhere...

Adele shipped double the amount of albums compared to #2. I don't know how much do you think they overshipped, but it for sure won't be the same amount #2 sold in that year.

also there is literally no proof of overshipment, except if you count 2 atrl posts about a local Walmart discount.

RED vinyl has been available on her website for a month now and there hasn't been an increase in her pure sales reported in previous weeks, which points to the "vinyl is in shortage, not available" statements actually not being relevant (since it seems vinyl was being bought in other stores where it has been available for purchase since the release date).

That statement is not true at all. Like y'll literally are making assumptions based on random 1-2 photos on Twitter.

First, Adele has NEVER announced a discount (unlike someone else who sold music for $0.39), Target has NEVER announced a discount. Individual stores do stock clearance all the time and it could happen to anyone. Do you think that a few clearances in a random Target store could influence the charts that much?

Second, Red vinyls have always been available on Target and now available on her website again.

Even if we take away let's say 1 million units of "unsold"  shipment from 30 only out of all the list, it still would be #1 and by a large margin over the #2.

Y'all need to get over this " unsold shipment" propaganda and stop believing random Twitter pictures of some Walmart and local stores it's getting cringy

You're indeed correct, those number includes shipments. Here's some dissections :

Vinyl sales

Worldwide - 862,000

USA - 318,000

UK - 37,000

Pure sales :

Worldwide - 4,680,000

USA - 1,464,000

UK - 502,000

Both markets are Adele's strongest yet she sold like 355,000 vinyl leaving 507,000 vinyl for the rest market. Meanwhile for total pure sales, remaining 2.714M pure sales come the rest markets. For sure there's no way she pull bigger number outside USA and UK which mean the only explanation is OVERSHIPMENT :gaycat2:

We aint forget how those vinyls were discounted after 2 weeks but are still collecting dust in Target stores

You can keep telling these lies to yourself if they make you sleep tight at night.

They were never discounted and they are not collecting anything in Target stores.

Swifties changing price tags and moving some units to the clearance shelves and using pictures from release week to say the album isn't being bought won't ever change the fact that 30 is a hit and the best selling album of 2021. :sistrens:

Funny thing you would claim they were discounted in Target when the picture Swifties started sharing was from Walmart clearance. What's the truth? Where was the vinyl discounted? You have to start keeping up with them lies, y'all are making them up after all. :sistrens:

You know, I prefer Adele. But can't we just agree that they're the 2 biggest female music artists worldwide and deal/live with it? Its now like Adele & Swift hate each other, much the opposite.
