The set earned 72,500 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending March 10 (down 9%), according to MRC Data. Encanto also surpasses 1 million equivalent album units earned in the U.S., as it the latest tracking week brings its to-date sum to 1.03 million. The soundtrack album was released on Nov. 19, before the film arrived in U.S. theaters on Nov. 24. The movie was released via the Disney+ streaming service a month later (Dec. 24). The album spent its first week at No. 1 on the Jan. 15, 2022-dated chart. wastedpotential Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Can we get some new music, the entire top 10 feels stale aside from the debuts

I have no idea why the major league artists aren't releasing anything (wasn't there a Beyonce album due for Q1?) and I feel like we haven't had a successful new artist get a hit since ABCDEFU and that's old news at this point. Over half of the albums in the top 10 are from last year, and most of those from last summer or earlier The Hot 100 isn't any better, given that the entirety of the top 10 but WDTAB was released last year, including Heat Waves and Ghost from last spring, Stay, Cold Heart, and both Ed singles from last summer, and Easy On Me and ABCDEFU from last fall.

zoldyck Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Ed with two songs in top 10, I was told by certain fanbase he doesn't impact chart just because a remix of his flopped.
fridayteenage Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 bruno STILL #2? wow some people were gloating about it being predicted to drop to #4 on the previous chart.
popularmoonlight Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Why is a 2 year old song topping the chart?

Ger Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 It's over for Hurricane GAYLE. Chart is so predictable that it's out so early. Not freaking Kodak going up this week. Glass Legends atop with 60 weeks charting. BH is insane.
