Since 2007 when the IFPI started to publish their Top 10 Global Singles Chart:

 

He's the 2nd artist to do it after Pharrell Williams did it with Happy (2014) and as a featured act in Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke (2013). The Weeknd is the first one to do it as a lead artist with Blinding Lights (2020) and Save Your Tears (2021).
