With the preunits from EOM, the album is at 2.5-2.6 million so no, there's no 800k copies of it overstocking the cds' section.

Pretty sure that EOM wasnt 4-5 times platinum after its first 5 weeks It had 167k sales and 162 million streams (I even counted the few hours before its first week), so that's 1.2 times platinum with the RIAA formula or 120k units for 30. Bit over 2.2 million total, certainly below 2.3 million. Unless I'm missing something But am I seeing that correctly that RIAA and Billboard have different formulas RIAA is all streams divided by 1500 and Billboard paid streams divided by 1250 and ad-supported streams divided by 3750. That's 40k difference in units for 100 million ad-supported streams (and a difference in the other direction for paid streams). EOM has like 80 million or so on US Youtube and Spotify is a bit hard to judge, but the rest should be paid.

doonerr Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 (edited) Taylor Swift stans need to get over the fact that their fave doesn't have a diamond and a 9x platinum album in pure sales, and leave Adele alone Edited February 25, 2022 by doonerr
Lein Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 (edited) Curtain Call another week in the top10. Streaming helped Eminem's catalog more than the digital era, his numbers are more impressive now than they were in 2012-2019. 54 monthly listeners on spotify alone and approaching 30 years since his debut.
