Let's not lie to ourselves and hide the fact that Britney's debut aged like milk. :skull:

The only albums I use here are:

1989

thank u, next

The Fame Monster

The rest have 2-3 cute songs I go back to. Worst is definitely Christina Aguilera for me.

With the exception of True Blue, TFM, and Music Box, all of the pre-2010 albums have aged like milk to varying degrees :gaycat6:

However, I think BOMT has withered the most with time. When I first got into it like 10 years ago, it was fantastic and I loved it, but with time it has gotten progressively worse. Other pre-2010 albums, like Christina Aguilera for instance, started off bad, and are still bad, but they didn't fall as far from grace as BOMT did.

Well Laundry Service doesn't sound dated at all tbh

BOMT has the worst Metacritic score and won Zero Grammys haha. I voted for that mess.

Music Box sucks other than the singles - however, I love "Without You"

True Blue has timeless singles but those album tracks are literal fillers, not even Samantha Fox would've used those, I still can't believe why Madonna made zero effort there :deadbanana2:

BOMT may be dated, but no album with the following songs is worst at anything, except maybe flopping:

Baby One More Time

Crazy

Sometimes

Born to Make You Happy

From the Bottom of My Broken Heart

are all excellent and timeless!

All of the album tracks are great though. Songs like “White Heat” and “Where’s the Party” are just as good as some of the singles released. As for “Jimmy Jimmy”, it’s a silly song, but I lowkey really like it. :flower:

"BOMT" or "True Blue".

"Music Box" at least has "Now That I Know", and isn't an overall pain to listen to.

CA is objectively better than BOMT. People are just voting for it because it's the least popular today.
