ATRL Moderator Ace Reject Posted January 6, 2022 ATRL Moderator Posted January 6, 2022 Credit to the amazing @supaspazfor this graphic which, in its own way, encapsulates the beauty and chaos of the past year. A year in which there was no real dominating force - 2021's biggest breakthrough artist is arguably for two generations max! 2021's most viral hitmaker also has serious... drawbacks! 2021's most dominant musical headliner generator - too much of a gimmick? I would let you decide... but you already did. A huge thank you to the voters who knowingly contributed: Spoiler @TRF.@MP2K@madonnas@bestfiction@JDM@JGibson@Green@Eric.@ileeresh25@Born to Run@Tinashegrande6@Achilles.@Remmy@TheWayWeWere@Sempiternal@Cry@Yvess@Billie Joe@K$Ellie@pavi@Mark Rih@popstar@Mr. Loco@MusicTalker And a huge thank you to those who didn't even know about this! Hopefully you'll stick around. We'll be starting the the close calls - the ten or so songs that just missed the top 50.
Eric. Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 (edited) Let's see those bubbling under! Edited January 6, 2022 by Eric.

I assume the first is Doja, but the second could be her, too?

Think former ATRL member (allegedly.) Erika de Casier, "Drama" CHVRCHES, "How Not to Drown" (featuring Robert Smith) The War on Drugs, "I Don't Live Here Anymore" (Featuring Lucius)
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Olivia & Billie only had 1 song in my YE list each & it was neither of those ^. Neither of them were in my Top 20 either lol
Mr. Loco Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 If traitor made it into the list, it means probably all of her 3 singles will be in the top 50 as well

A lot. Utada doesn't. But thank you @TRF.for listing Utada so high - I fell in love. Utada Hikaru, "One Last Kiss"

ATRL Moderator Ace Reject Posted January 6, 2022 Author ATRL Moderator Posted January 6, 2022 Adele, "To Be Loved" girl in red, "Serotonin"
ATRL Moderator Ace Reject Posted January 6, 2022 Author ATRL Moderator Posted January 6, 2022 These two hurt as they make my year end; the latter is my second favorite of the year. Luckily my favorite does very well here. Sharon Van Etten & Angel Olsen, "Like I Used To" Wizkid, "Essence" (featuring Tems)
