Idk exactly how to explain it but the lyrics and the mood it sets just suck you in. It's also a great fall/winter song which was perfect since it took some time to fully grow on me. I know My Universe isn't an epic song or anything but it's a bop so sue me Higher Power too but the chorus just doesn't hit as hard! I guess I didn't get into CIBY until later? But for whatever reason it was still charting for me at the beginning of the year so there you go Mainly because I didn't really think Amoeba was a single but wanted to give it some recognition anyway

Alt girls really ruled this year and I love that you appreciate that. The #1 is quite unexpected but it’s so deserved. I wish it had had a video. Great list overall Although maybe next time it can be spread out Based on my countdown and listening habits TFFA is the only one that maybe could've been higher, but by the end of the year it just wasn't as memorable as I would've liked for top 100. POMM is a bop but I liked Peach better (along with some other tracks from their last album). London Grammar I've been casually checking for a while but they've yet to release something that really grabs me. I usually like Jack's productions, obviously there are some exceptions (never really listened to St Vincent for example) but he kinda snapped on this one Maybe I could do like 4 sets of 50 with short descriptions for the top 10, I just don't have the motivation for regular sets anymore
