I can’t wait for the multiracial working class republican to take hold in 2024.

Never gonna happen. The Republicans 10 years ago were pivoting towards this, but they saw more success attaching themselves to white supremacy and delusion. With white people slowly dying out in the US. The Republican base will continue to decline.

Lol

Asians, Indians, Arabs and Hispanics are all trending that way. Especially as they (esp the former 2) trend towards the top of the economic ladder.

The rude awakening is coming.

edit: fun fact- all these groups are more racist towards Black people than white Americans could imagine. But we’re never allowed to talk about this even tho everyone knows it to be true.

Then wouldn’t more black people trend towards that? As black immigrants particularly African immigrants especially Nigerians are the top performing people in the country? And also because of that have becoming increasingly wealthy outdoing Asians?

You trying to personally save Joseph's political career after spending 6 months arguing somehow that both his approvals with Hispanics were improving and that any poor approvals were cause he wasn't right-wing enough:

Unseating an incumbent is a bitch, bestie. That's politics.

This I completely agree with, he definitely should not run. We need a confident commanding centrist candidate who knows when to keep their mouth shut and appeal to minorities

I had hope for him but he’s lost my support. I agree with your post; Biden should not run again.

Out of spite, I will vote for the Republican over the closet Republican aka centrist. I will never vote for that.

Not people randomly bringing up "asian americans are becoming republicans!" here when that demographic literally voted more for Democrats in 2020 than they did in 2016. The COPIUM going on here. Biden is heavily unpopular because his administration is being largely perceived as inefficient by different sections of the working class, please understand that.  :deadbanana4:

Right-wing democrats can't keep their promises and voters feel like they were led on, so this is not a surprise. That leaves a door open for people to either stop believing in the electoral system and not even bothering to vote anymore in the next election or radicalize themselves to the further right as they desperately look for systematic changes they believe democrats couldn't provide to them. This cycle never ends in America and neolibs never understand this. Y'all don't get tired?

And there it is folks, there it is. Voting for Trump over Kamala because you support Bernie, what a world we live in.

Don't worry, some of us understand how evil Trump is and will be doing the right thing, voting Green. :clap3:

The Bernie conversation :skull:

Biden won, it’s over.  I’m sick of litigating the 2020 (and 2016!) elections. Biden is unpopular with Latinos the same reason he’s unpopular with most demographics: he isn’t delivering anything for them.

Honestly, the only way centrists can cope with the fact that Biden is one of the most unpopular presidents of all time is by fixating on how Bernie would have lost. Like... yeah... Any Democrat would have been stomped by Trump in a non-COVID 2020, and it wouldn't have been close. The socialism fearmongering worked on exactly the same gullible idiots that thought Sanders would govern like Fidel Castro. There was never any winning those voters - they were always just eager for an excuse to not vote Democrat. And disingenuous conservative Dems who also spread this propaganda are doing themselves a disservice, because they'll also always be seen as "just as socialist as Bernie Sanders" by those same white Cubans they desperately want validation from, while also boasting about how Latinos aren't part of their path to victory anyways.

Honestly when that happens, the Democrats are dead as a party.

And for nominating people as odious as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, they deserve to be.

Well, I mean, when you get right down to it, I'm kinda thinking that if Buttigieg ends up being the nominee, Trump might unironically end up being the lesser evil. :deadbanana4:

Latinos of all races tend to be socially conservative so not surprised

‘Black people don’t support Buttigieg because they’re homophobic’ teas

and no, Latinos are not more socially conservative than white Americans as a whole.

He's unpopular with everyone. Not a good president and Trump will win in 2024.

Overall Approval is 42-43% (same it’s been a for 5 months) so this is just factually wrong 🤷🏼‍♂️

He’s a Biden stan, so that doesn’t really matter to him. As long as Biden is beloved by partisan Democrats, he’s “the most popular president ever and should not be criticized whatsoever :clap3:

The Dems are screwed because they don’t know how to develop a bench.

Bernie’s time has passed but his offspring have been demonized by the media to the point where I don’t see any of them being nationally viable. Ayanna is the most appealing but I don’t think she’s necessarily a Pres/VP kind of candidate.

Katie Porter is a good replacement for Warren but she needs to hold higher office before people start looking at her nationally.

Kamala and Pete are over (Kamala more so than Pete). Yang is a flop. Gillibrand and Booker are non-factors. And the other faceless white men that ran for President in 2020 are weak.

Beto overplayed his hand and is basically over.

Sinema chose to squander her political potential by becoming Manchin 2.0 and focusing on dressing like Miss Frizzle.

Warnock and Ossoff have some Obamalike qualities imo but 2024 obviously is way too soon for them to do anything. Stacey Abrams also is focusing on the Georgia governorship and could become another Beto if she flops again.

It’s pretty embarrassing that the most electable Dem currently is someone who has no interest in elected office (Michelle Obama)
