Jesus christ… The fact that some of you consider, an albeit tacky and overabundant, display of Louis bags and fancy cars online as something “VULGAR” but also worship the Kardashians and every other female celebrity who shows off her wealth in the same breath… I can think of much more vulgar things that make it’s way online and it’s not something as inconsequential as being braggadocios.

It's ridiculous to flaunt wealth, but it's even more ridiculous to try censoring it. :rip:

The people commenting based on a pop forum which was made to basically track charts and chart receipts, beyond new releases. Your lack of self awareness rivals that of the CCP calling themselves communists while having one of the most capitalistic, materialistic and unequal societies on earth.

Good on them. Excess and material wealth lauding has become disturbingly common. Sick of people eating up the Kardashian and billionaire lifestyle etc as if it's within the realm of anything they or anyone they know will ever have during their lives. All it does is promote envy and jealousy and a focus on what you don't have, rather than what you do.

It is vulgar and gross, but censoring this is beyond stupid.  The government officials who enact this live in huge mansions and send their children to expensive private schools in the US and UK, vacation in Switzerland, and own several luxury cars.  You can’t seriously enforce something you don’t even believe in nor follow.

Agreed, it’s tacky af but censoring it is stupid especially when CCP officials are the ones who live the most ostentatious lives.

The self-righteous Americans in the replies of that tweet are so anti-China that they can’t see their own governments can be very totalitarian when they want to be. :deadbanana2:

Honey, America isn't even close to being like China. Good grief. lol

So you're for government censorship then?

Is that what you tell yourself at night before you go to sleep to forget you’re actively fueling the epitome of capitalism in a sugary package?

"Who over orders food!1?" Like.... Chinese? Not just Chinese in China, many Chinese diasporas do too. It's part of our culture because food plays a huge part in showing hospitality/ love/ care etc.

Didn’t your governments kidnap and experiment on innocent citizens in an attempt to brainwash them through experimental mind control techniques? Then destroy almost all files after some leaking to the public?

The law is but censorship of a sort. Foolish to be against it — it creates order.

The CCP needs to collapse. Its America's duty to install a new Chinese government. Interference is needed.
