Mike Chester and his promotion team did a simply remarkable job with Dua. The Bunny expanded its A&R capabilities considerably by adding strong players Karen Kwak and Steve “Steve-O” Carless. https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=329696&title=NEAR-TRUTHS%3A-BOSS-STATS Incredible, Levitating is probably at 6-7M overall by now, a mega smash Levitating should reach 500k pure before Summer 2022, which is also an achievement in this day & age. Per Old Bloke at UK Mix Levitating is now up to 446000 & getting 2500-3000 downloads/week. So Levitating will finish 2021 at 450-455k.
zzmyth Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 The fact that I bopped to the Madonna version and didnt even like the dababy version..... I felt so alone
Jude Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 I still remember those so many weeks when it was struggling to hit the top 50 of H100 and wow, it turned out to be the biggest hit of the year. Dreams do come true.
dabunique Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 well deserved, so happy for her and my fellow stans
brianc33710 Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Dua should've released a Christmas remix of Levitating.
lcylcy Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 I love Dua and FN but denying DaBaby’s major contribution to levitating’s success is delusional

Dua has the original, Madonna remix, Da Baby remix, an acoustic version & a Capella mix too, so at least 5 versions. I looked for "Rock" but only found covers. She probably could've pulled that off had she tried.

mrpartyrocker Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Remember those days when we were stanning new rules hitting top 10 and people arguing camila cabello would end up bigger than her? Now how times have changed... Dua is here to STAY

I was 18 when Houston recorded her version of Dollys Country classic. But I don't think we're on the same page here. I'm saying Dua could've recorded a Rock remix/version & it would've done great. Dua has 5 Levitating versions but Rock isn't 1 of them. Dua could've made a Rock/Metal, or 6th mix & it would've probably done well. I guess I thought with her other mixes she could've/should've recorded a Rock Levitating version too but she didn't. Since she didn't herself, other singers have/had.
