Not the swifties losing all their arguments That isnt unexpected at all 30 has a lot of supply and Red has very limited supply. But yeah pretty good. The 2nd week absolutely is better in context than the 1st week

Green Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 Meanwhile, the lead single from Adele’s LP 30, which tops the Billboard 200 albums chart for a second week, grants the singer-songwriter a fitting 30th total week at No. 1 on the Hot 100, encompassing her five career leaders. Previously, she reigned with “Rolling in the Deep,” for seven weeks in 2011; “Someone Like You” (five, 2011); “Set Fire to the Rain” (two, 2012); and “Hello” (10, 2015-16). Adele is the 17th artist to top the Hot 100 for at least 30 weeks, over the chart’s 63-year history. She’s the eighth woman to reach the mark, after Mariah Carey, the leader among all acts with 84 weeks at No. 1, Rihanna (60), Beyoncé (41), Janet Jackson, Katy Perry (33 each), Madonna (32) and Whitney Houston (31).

Wow, this is impressive, especially since it's with just 5 songs, she has an average of 6 weeks

ATRL lost It was so transparent the way they were using that to push the narrative that Adele is flopping. The desperation reached a new high Mariah top 3 already OAHs and OMHs lost!
fridayteenage Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 topping this year while out of t3 on streaming/sales: 1/9 mood 3/13 drivers license 5/15 save your tears 10/2 stay 12/11 easy on me all had built up tons of airplay to supplement.
Capruni Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 Hope Brenda could snatch at least one week at #1 this year.
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 I could see Easy On Me tying or surpassing Hello’s 10 weeks. I think it will nab a 7th week this week. Possibly an 8th next week, but Mariah will probably nab it by then or soon after. So 7-8 weeks pre Christmas, and I could see it returning to #1 for a couple weeks after Christmas & NYE unless something comes up fast after the holidays which I don’t really see happening unless Rihanna drops or something.
Ger Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 3 Christmas songs already in Top 5 Gosh, I haven't even decorated yet. EOM is such a monster, exceeded my expectations by far, but happy for it, song is gorgeous.

I don't think it will tie Hello, abcdefu is racing up quite fast and I see it being threat once the Xmas songs invasion ends. EOM may come back in January but I think it will snatch 1 more week or so.
