It definitely had impact but not as huge as one might think.

what was the impact?

Streaming was already gaining a lot of traction but pure sales still had a nice pull, so I don't think Spotify availability would keep her away from doing +2.5 million.

Where is 30 on the 2021 list now? In total sales units

I don't get how the song is so big but the album is always outsold by buble.

Buble’s entire album is charting, most especially on days closer to Christmas, compared to Mariah who only have couple of songs from the album.

if 30 keeps following 25's percentage drops.

3rd week: 181k (-63%)

4th week: 225k (+13%)

not sure if the holidays will have the same positive impact to album sales (aka its 4th/5th week) that it used to have 6 years ago tho.

Because the market was far more healthier for pure sales.

3.380.000−65,67% = 1.160.354

839.000−65,67% = 288.028

30 had the exact same second week drop as 25 :cm:

We love to see the receipts

288k is crazy numbers

Mariah's Merry Xmas is 8x Platinum, probably gonna reach Diamond by the 2023 Xmas season.

Elvis's Christmas Album is already Diamond so that is the standard to beat.

Is it a 36% drop, not 63%?

Also the 4th week increase was due to NBC airing "Adele Live in New York City" so that won't be happening now... :frown:

This was on Friday, when HDD had 30 at 284k. With additional 4k from BB it surpassed Combs and is now #10 on the year end chart after just 2 weeks.  :alexz:

Adele's streaming numbers are pretty poor

No surprise.

yup they should drop the video as soon as the xmas freeze is over and then prepare some room for IDW as the next one. then CIGI for late spring/early summer release so it can become the radio smash of the next summer. and then finish the era with To Be Loved as the final single around Grammys season (and a live Grammy performance) to put the cherry on top for this era! :foxaylove::turkey:

adele's numbers are insane

The streaming numbers are pretty good considering 30 is somewhat experimental, only has 12 songs, and the album isn’t streaming friendly in general.

But yes, those pure sales from Adele are absolutely insane!
