December 16 sounds ideal to me - I'll be done with finals back then so I can dedicate myself more to the debauchery :duca:

Last year was fun even with SOME PEOPLE trying to deny Jessie her win xo

The Jessie stans were ruthless when it clearly should have been Dua's year.

If anything, the lack of any albums people LOVE should make this a little more interesting!

WE SURE WERE WE SURE WERE

I mean whew 2020 was a competitive year for sure, but of all people Jessie was gonna share the stage with in true ATRL fashion, it made perfect sense for it to be Dua  Esp if she wasn't gonna get the ATRL AOTY Grammy

Tinashe vs Erica is the 2021 battle I have strong stakes in, but this is the first year I actually listened to the Tinasha album and really loved it (I'll still shade her bc it's fun), so I'm already bracing for Erica's undeserved yet inevitable loss everywhere in R&B.

She does deserve, but I will be voting for Ms. Adele and Ms. Jazmine.

Not with my vote! Erika deserves her win!

Also feel like I’m the only one who thinks 2021 >>>> 2020. Last year was full of albums I thought were okay but vastly overrated

Still waiting for the Best Of section to open to check out some albums I may have missed. If not, I guess I may check out this list.

Interesting to see that last year had two albums belonging to the same music genre sharing the top spot.

I would love to do Dec 16th but I'm west coast and I get off of work at 7 PM so I don't know if I can make it.

If I can I 100% will!

Have you joined the Magdelena Bay-hive?

Absolutely not - there's a lot I have to "catch up on."

Welcome everyone! We'll start throwing out some ideas a bit later on.

I don't even know who Erica is... and if you think she stands a chance in a year that brought Heaux Tales AND Still Over It.... baby, you've got a big storm coming.

Well, if you do anything else before the 16th, listen to their album!!!!!!!!!

alsso I will be rooting for Erika and Tinashe for R&B categories, but I will ditch them for Jazmine if I need to stop Summer :-*

Babe I just said I'm bracing for the inevitable loss, but shade all you want even tho I feel she's right up your alley with the Brandy/early 2000s thing! No clue wtf Still Over It is tho, but I liked Jasmine and Tinasha this year so idgaf

I'm same as madges, Dec 16 would be good but would probably miss it due to work unless it'd be sometime after like 5pm Pacific.
