India does the mother earth aesthetic better than Badu; there I said it.

Comes across much more genuine.

Also, friendly reminder that Black Messiah is the best R&B album of the decade

I'm down to revive the thread. I was thinking about it actually, I got an OP in mind.

I want to get into Erykah Badu and India.Arie. Do I just start from their first release, or do you have any suggestions on what I should listen to first? Thanks.

If any of you listen to Sinead Harnett, she has a new song out tomorrow from the deluxe version of Ready is Always Too Late.

Chronologically is the way to go for both. Don't think I've heard of Sinead, I'll take a peep.

I was gonna @ everyone but my computer is bugging out, but anyways, do y'all want me to put decade essentials in the OP or for it to be a collaborative effort? I'd prefer the latter but if nobody feels like doing all that I understand.

Here for the revival. This is my favorite type of music, from every decade.

Shanice is so underrated. Currently listening to her self titled album from top to bottom.

Her flowers are long overdue.

I Love Your Smile is another. She married Flex and just stopped making music and prioritized family, some great stuff though.
