I prefer No Signal on the same EP. Love both songs though.

I got mixed thoughts on it, glad to see an R&B song catch on like this but I also don't really think she got enough energy on it. I like the remix with August Alsina better than the OG.

I really been getting into her material and love it more than what’s going viral.

It’s weird cause I warmed up to it but prefer her other material. Overall I’m happy to see an R&B artist win but she’s needs something stellar.

was looking at the Billboard 200 today and here in the US, our late R&B legends seemingly will never go away from the consciousness of the people. Whitney, Michael and Prince all have albums either re-entering the charts or still charting despite half a decade since any of them walked this earth. Legacies really do live forever.

Pure R&B from male artists can’t be popular anymore without a trap beat or a rap feature. We need an R&B revival with a new generation of male singers that don’t feel the need to follow trends. But “TikTok R&B” is alive and well.

I miss the days when Joe could have a hit called “I Wanna Know” and STILL release “Stutter” with Mystikal. Now you can’t have an “I Wanna Know” anymore and fly to the top of the Hot 100 charts. You can have a “Stutter,” tho.

They don't employ songwriters because everyone wants to do it themselves.

another annoying thing lol, all of y'all can not write & produce. You need assistance (cough cough Gallant)

Facts its definitely been the new trend for some years, which is cool but I miss the blend. Most our R&B males today (new and established) are all following that same vibe.

I love to see a mixture: some dominating in that sound, then some doing Alt-R&B, Indie-R&B, Contemporary, Neo-Soul, etc.
