Only Adele can come up with numbers like this. She and Taylor really run the industry.

It’s very strange how threads like this have so little replies but all the trolling ones has 5 pages or more lol.

Even Taylor isn't doing these numbers with a single lol.

LWYMMD second week:

  • Sales: 114,000
  • Streams: 61,200,000
  • Radio audience: 72M

ME! second week:

  • Sales: 30,000
  • Streams: 27,000,000
  • Radio audience: 63M

EOM second week (Predicted):

  • Sales: 22,500
  • Streams: 30,000,000
  • Radio audience: 63M

I get that you think Taylor won't be able to pull these numbers because of Cardigan and Willow, but their circumstances were quite different from EOM's (surprise drop, competing with album cuts, no radio deal etc.).

I'm talking about RIGHT NOW. Taylor won't pull those numbers right now with a single. At Taylor's commercial peak (which to me, was from 2010-2017), she absolutely could pull those numbers, no doubt.

I'm saying RIGHT NOW, no one else is doing those numbers across streams, sales and radio with a new single (huge comeback or not). It simply isn't happening.

Her last leads still were Cardigan and Willow and they reached nowhere near the numbers of EOM. So you can talk about what they didn’t have but we can also talk about what they had!

5+ versions to buy and stream in discounted prices, along with autographed singles etc so… yeah she can’t in 2021 pull EOM numbers

Tay's LWYMMD should be compared to Hello because both are "comeback singles" that was released after their commercial peak (then discount for the sales decline because it was released 2 years after Hello)

ME!'s numbers look decent tbh - idk why the Swifties don't like that song. It's a super fun song for me.

Cardigan and Willow's circumstances were not similar to Easy On Me's, I don't know why y'all don't get that Both songs would've done very differently had they been released as the sole tracks with all attention focused on them, at least in the US.
