How likely are we to have a deluxe released that will include Laugh Now, Cry Later as a bonus track? The SPS that song alone will add to the overall album sales total…

He won't be doing that. The last time any of his albums had a deluxe version was 8 years ago. If he wanted to add Laugh Now Cry Later to the album, he would have done so already.

Adele says hi

Adele has obviously stomped at an unprecedented level but to call her a cockroach when she’s had 2 smash eras, the last of which was over half a decade ago, just isn’t correct :giraffe: I love Adele but I highly doubt she’d be able to maintain such stompery across 9+ projects like Taylor and Drake have done, because her appeal is a bit one-note

Drake is Drake, put some respect on his name. Y’all always try to bring up your fave lol.

OT: The fact that he’s also gonna hold 9/10 spots of the top 10 on the hot 100 tomorrow. INSANEEEE

Lol, people always do this to female artists (e.g., female Michael Jackson, female The Beatles) so why can’t I do that to him? ?

OT: Still killing it a decade into music:clap3:

I understand what you mean but Drake is not that kind of artist (not like he needs to be either...), as in he makes albums as a body of work and doesn’t add songs left and right that weren’t meant for the album and turn it into a play list.

ot. What a legend :dies:

and higher than hdd’s final prediction!! It’s funny how atrl kept saying that the prediction will go down by a lot over the week but ended up on par :sistrens:

He is not Dua inflation lipa. Drake makes albums as a body of work.

Certain girls aren’t present I see :gaycat4: “he’s gonna do 400k” :soda:

743m when Scorpion literally had 5 singles pumping its first week. Absolutely insane. I wish he could’ve had time for physicals/vinyl but would’ve definitely suffered a leak. Laugh Now Cry Later would’ve had it north of 760m+, wow.

Honestly I feel the same about this album. The only song I remember is Way 2 Sexy and that's because of the sample and the video

But still his success is really impressive

On the Hot 100, "Bad Habits" drops from No. 3 to No. 13, after reaching No. 2, and "Butter" falls 1-17. A week earlier, the latter rebounded for its 10th week at No. 1, sparked by its remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion.

Welp, he snatched the Top 5 record after all  I kind of have mixed feelings because just from a chart rules and music industry standpoint, it was SO much harder to pull off that feat when The Beatles did it, so it feels a bit weird that they share this with Drake now. But hey, he objectively did it, so good for him and I’m glad it was a Canadian who did it :fan:

Also cute that one of the songs that helped him tie the record has Lennon and McCartney credited as songwriters
