I want Despacito to be #1 but later :fonso: so it can have less weeks of #1 if possible

Well, I was thinking, that he or she have been writing, that "he actually hits" in the simple present. :toofunny2:

It Ain't Me #10 next week. Im happy its not moving from the top10 but I would love a higher peak within the top10

Also, is SOTT jump because of the video?

Yes video.

Didn't include the sales jump yet, but there is a pretty big gap to go higher than #18...

Chained to the Rhythm will be Katy's first top 10 hit to not reach 20 weeks

I'm The One is not that good...

I will sacrifice Bon Appétit's chart performance for Despacito (no Bieber) to be the next #1 :fan:

Will "Paris" make 20 weeks in the top 50? :rip:

For me it's good if That's What I Like returns to number 1 next week, but Despacito needs to get that #1 next week after it...

If it increases in points it wont

Didn't DLMD increase in points on its would be 53rd week but Billboard made it recurrent anyway?

I thought so, but I could have been wrong.

The rule says that you have to decrease in points to go recurrent... If they don't follow that, then idk.

So Don't Let Me Down could be charting even now?

If it would have increased in points every week starting with the 53rd week. But it certainly hasn't. Not sure how you got to that conclusion.

Don't Let Me Down increased in points in its 53rd week and BB still made it a super recurrent.

Katy & Lorde must be worried about releasing a new album. I dont even know what they can do. Sometimes the public are just over you and it doesnt matter how good a song you release. Katys had 3 flops in a year now. Lorde was always in a pressure situation to prove she wasn't a one hit wonder who just caught a wave at the right time. Now she's in Taylors squad she's not quite the awkward loner she came onto the scene as.

Judging Katy's behaviour atm, she doesnt even seem worried about flopping

She made a big video and has changed her image drastically. She cares. I think the lukewarm reception has thrown her off course. Now she is having to rethink her strategy.

I think the fact that Cheap Thrills (albeit falling) was charting higher than DLMD may had something to do with this. Remember, the two songs went super recurrent on the same week. I think this was a case of either both or neither getting a 53rd week. The chart would have looked inconsistent if  DLMD was given a 53rd week just for increasing in points between weeks 52 and 53, and not giving Cheap Thrills a 53rd week despite it being a few spots higher than DLMD because it fell in points between weeks 52 and 53.
