Proof?

If you want to know it yourself just ask TOTC, ashres or a reliable predictor (no winston :eddie:), because of the weekly audits they always use a filtering rate to predict butter's points, the filtering is always around 55%. This happens since dynamite, I don't get why people think BB is not auditing Columbia, it's the opposite but the difference is that even after the filtering BTS still has enough sales to be #1

Butter

847 sets x 24 copies per set = 20,328 copies sold

1 set x 24 copies per set = 24 copies sold

45 Amazon sets x 24 copies per set = 1,080 copies sold

45 Qobuz sets x 24 copies per set = 1,080 copies sold

TOTAL: 22,512 copies sold (~20% of the song's total sales of 112.9K this week)

Permission to Dance

847 sets x 16 copies per set = 13,552 copies sold

45 Amazon sets x 16 copies per set = 720 copies sold

45 Qobuz sets x 16 copies per set = 720 copies sold

TOTAL: 14,272 copies sold

If I'm understanding the tweet correctly, this one person is responsible for roughly 20% of Butter's sales this week?! I know they were purchased with crowdsourced funds but my GOD that's truly ridiculous if my calculations are correct. :deadbanana2:

So this is officially the longest #1 of the year?

Yep. They're going for longest of the decade next, so minimum of 12 weeks. After that, well... depends on competition... They could go for at least 14 just to make sure that Olivia doesn't sneak up to get Song of the Summer at the very last minute.

It's getting really pathetic (and out of hand) :deadbanana2:

I don't even like Industry Baby but it deserves the #1.

It looks like they gave up on #1 this week, aiming to keep it top 5 instead. Does Mr Maraj have a shot at #1 or Ms Livy blocking him too?

Stay is the next #1 contender

Industry baby has weak airplay and his streams will decrease.

drivers license already went recurrent

so this means good 4 u could be Olivia's highest entry on the year-end charts

This FRAUD keeps on going. I cannot :rip:.

Tragic. It was so important for this song to go #1. It broke so many barriers. Aside from the naked video scene, we got a white rapper featured on black singer's song, and also a straight male artist featured on a gay man's song without any hang ups. A literal cultural reset. Instead those cockroaches kept that absolute non-event of a song at #1 for absolutely no reason.

It's pretty fast the way radio dropped this song. Let's hope g4u not serving this kind of trajectory.

(also just to say how impressive Levitating is: Levitating spent more time in the top 10 than DL's entire chart life).

Even deja vu will probably outlast drivers license  (still top 10, 17 weeks on the Hot 100 so far and radio hasn't peaked yet)

Not Normani almost ourcharting Camila in her second week after all the stunts she pulled :deadbanana2:

It kinda reminds me of Adele’s hello chart run. Debuted huge, spent long time at the top, but then didn’t really have longevity.

That makes perfect sense to me. And supports what I have said all the time. There is no way these sales are not being audited and checked.

"Butter" is the longest-leading hit of 2021, besting the rule of Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License."

Quote

BTS' "Butter" spends a ninth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. It now boasts the longest command of 2021 outright, passing the eight-week reign of Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License" in January-March.

He has collaborated with them + he can't speak on remixes / discounts when one of the reasons  OTR broke Mariah's record was because of his remixes.

well, he can beacuse without remixes he still would have 12-13 weeks at one, and BTS without scam would have 0

even at this point, can anyone definitively say Butter is a bigger song than Drivers License or even good 4 u? :toofunny3:

at the end of the day, billboard is a magazine selling ads and clicks to survive

at this point BoTS not being #1 would give them more clicks - a army fandom going there and being mad and all other of us going there and seeing what happened that bots aren't 1

now only army is going there and doing clicks, because we are tired and mad
