This is a massive flop. What did she expect waiting seven years after her last English project? The verses also suck tbh, doesn’t hook you in fast enough.

The intro is super boring, which is probably affecting its streaming numbers. It's catchy after the first 20 seconds have passed, but by that point, the average listener will have changed the song.

Yeah they needed the tu-tu-tu-ru synth riff thing at the very start. Instead they have boring generic synth chords leading into an anemic verse, no punchy lyrics, no distinctive hook. It low key sounds like a Smile-era Katy Perry song until the chorus.

it's missing bass.... like if she wanted to go euro dance, go all the way and the chorus should've banged more...the melody is good, just needs some bass and maybe drums

NOPE. The song is exactly how multiple times grammy winner singer, writer and producer, Shakira, intended it to be. :gaycat5:

The song is very simple yet somehow if radio spams it, it can turn into a top 40 hit on many charts 🤞🏽

I wish her label would invest more on this but Shakira herself doesn't care so w/e

Thats a common issue with Shak. Even her reggeaton bops always lack some heavier bass to go super hard. :katie:

A quick 2-minute zoom call from her bedroom in Barcelona isn't precisely promo :fan: but I'm glad she's putting the word out other than her TikTok.
