I don't consider myself to be a particularly ethical person, but I am fair, this is different than Britney's situation rounds before. Once they explain to the host the reasons for missing the deadline and the judges decide what to do, the rules should be applied tho the 2/3 of them? And then, well, judges/host decide what to do.
