Yikes... I really need to understand why Taylor still needs so much validation through the charts that she pulls out tricks to manipulate them, it's honestly gotten pathetic :rip:

What are you talking about? She was extremely close to the #1 and had signed 75K CDs, plus selling 80-100K vinyls. She had every right to do a last minute push for the #1 :deadbanana: What’s actually desperate is y’all trying to make this into something it’s not

Also Taylor and Olivia have about the same units basically but Taylor’s comes mostly from pure sales which is more valuable + generates far more revenue than streams. She got it fair and square and no last minute push (which was well within her right??) will change that :michael:

some of the physical numbers of these albums :rip: Taylor doing 178k is crazy :jonny:

Posted

Strategic shipping of physical albums is kind of sleazy. They should only count the sales made during the first week of pre-order for this week. Then next week add on the sales ordered in week 2 etc etc

The kii if evermore freefalls to below #50 after this one. :dies:

Well this isn’t a Taylor issue, it’s a Billboard issue. The way sales count now are their own rules (only when they ship out). Take it up with them :michael:

As someone else put it, strategic shipping IS desperate. And it does come off as her still seeking validation through the charts, which would be sad if true :rip:

Super impressive drop for Olivia, she’ll surely return to #1 next week :clap3:

The shipping in one bulk is Billboard’s new rule, take that up with them :michael:

I know I totally belive on those +100k vinyl think, she always do good at pure sales, I need them to investigate those digital sales from yesterday

Why, it was already close before them, that’s the entire reason Taylor did it. They probably added 10k at most, which was all that was needed :coffee2:

Nnnnn you all blaming the artists when Billboard is the one who created this rule after a lot of complains before :bibliahh:

This isn’t Taylor’s decision or chart manipulation, it’s Billboard’s own rules :rip: Vinyl take 3 to 6 months to produce and ship, and Billboard decides to count the vinyl sales in bulk now. Taylor being able to sell an unprecedented amount of physical albums isn’t desperate. ??‍♂️

I hate Taylor for this :biblio: the fact she just beat Olivia after being 30k behind before her “spontaneous” release of other versions yesterday :deadbanana2: hopefully Billboard puts Olivia at top

And those predictions had been changing daily, as happens when Taylor selling physicals is involved because she sells, when was the last 140k prediction? :)

Taylor wouldn’t have done a last minute push if she was 30k away, that’s too much, it was obviously much closer than that.

bTS indeed. fraudulence won.

And sometimes artists pull out all the stops and they still lose, y’all can’t pick and choose what strategies you root for to work

Tbh I'll be pissed if Taylor blocks Olivia from a two-week #1 debut album. :/

Evermore could have easily debuted with over 500k then :deadbanana4: not this puta doing almost 200k and outselling most of the it girls’ first week 6 months in :bibliahh:

What is there to kii about? :skull: Everyone knows it's so high because the vinyls and signed CDs finally got shipped, which just shows how incredible her selling power is. Obviously it won't move no where near those units again next week, considering the album was released 6 months ago :rip: Taylor has more albums charting every single week on the Billboard 200 than any female artist by far. I think she's fine no matter where evermore lands next week don't you think? n

Posted

Imagine a universe where Taylor blocks Olivia and then Olivia pulls a Bad Blood on Taylor during her sophomore album and Taylor gets her just desserts for ruining Katy's rep. :fan: We'd hate to see it, obviously.
