Britney demolishes her singles-wise too so I'm afraid that won't help your case.

Then why not post the stats like you did with album. Afraid that your lie will be caught? Here let me do it for you:

Britney: 8.4M

Gaga: 13.2M

Stop lying now.

Since you counting remixes albums for Gaga, where are Brit's B in the mix: the remixes and B in the mix vol II: the remixes? Brit released two remixes albums just like Gaga did, but you are ignoring them for some reason :keir:

The shameless attempt :deadbanana:

Brit just released more albums, deal with it an move on!

How is Britney more consistent when every Gaga album is certified while Britney's last efforts barely scanned Bronze?

Because Britney was scoring Platinum albums up until Femme Fatale (her 7th album). I guess we'll just have to see see how Gaga does with her 8th and 9th studio albums.

The O2Arena right?

Gaga performed during The ArtRave there too and made more money in 2014 (tickets price was lower), plus it was completely sold out. Britney's concert wasn't.

OT: Gaga has more certified sales, bigger touring stats, better year-end charts. She would never ever have a bombing tour like FF. Even during her flop tour in 2014, all the dates were completely sold out in England. So, therefore, she's a bigger icon in the UK, I'm afraid.

Solo songs on AM UK

Britney:

#465 Gimme More

#544 Toxic

#624 Circus

#935 Womanizer

#1057 Baby One More Time

GaGa:

#489 Always Remember Us This Way

#790 Bad Romance

#1050 Poker Face

It appears like the UK enjoys Britney’s solo classics more than GaGa’s in 2021. Iconique if you ask me!

Nobody's lying. Britney has more top 10s and top 40s, which makes her the bigger singles artist. But either way, albums > singles :)

Britney sweetie, I'm so sorry.

Ya'll are always so obsessed with figures.

The question was who is a bigger icon. It's undisputably Britney and that's not even up for debate.

Culturally, the impact of Britney was massive and cross-generational.

Most Grandma's could list off Baby, Oops and Toxic, if asked for Britney singles.

I doubt any of them could name a Gaga track.

Gaga is talented and a main pop girl. Britney is an ICON.

This is coming from someone who listens to Gaga more and prefers her artistically.

Because Britney has more singles :skull: and who cared about quick top 10 singles like Hold It Against Me that can't even scan gold.

5M difference in singles > 0.5M difference in albums(which is awful when you consider 10 year lead)

base on certification, that 1.2M isn't making much difference

SneakyFantasticChipmunk-max-1mb.gif

BOMT was certified 3x Platinum in early 2000, so it's missing roughly 900k. But what's this discussion for? Britney remains above, a has albums nearing a certification update (her album sales are actually over 4.9m in the UK).

The Britney land delusion at it again :lmao: Thank God in the real world its another story.

Imagine coming for Gaga when she sold on par or more when Britney has 10 years advantage of sales :toofunny3:

Gaga outsold in overall record sales, outgrossed, outstreamed.

Britney stans hanging on that top 10 album list for dear life :dies:

13 years into their career, Britney released the flop album FF that barely scrapped gold in 2011 :rip: one Top10 frontloaded lead single that didn't even scrap gold, and An embarrassing flopping tour...

Chromatica outsold ,SL outsold and ROM was huge , time for a reality check in the Britney land :dies:

Complain to BILLBOARD, POLL STAR sources which reported the tour was 100% SOLD OUT.

OT: Shallow's about to make 4 TIMES the year-end chart in the United Kingdom. Gaga has more certified records, better year-end charts for BOTH: albums and singles. Bigger touring power. ASIB film that  was a HIT movie in England. And the list goes on.

That goes for everyone, not just Britney you know :skull:

ARTPOP is 30k from platinum

ASIB is 5k off from 2x platinum

TF is at 3.15M

Discussion is difference in sale isn't impressive, since Britney has more albums and more time period. So her being one spot above Gaga isn't that shocking indeed it is tragic. When 20 years of your work amount to barely being above of 10 years of somebody else work.
