Welcome to the 4th official season of Song of the Season! Through this game, you will have the opportunity to explore and bring out your creative side by writing a lyrical piece where you can produce either a gripping story and pour your heart out,  simply share your thoughts, craft a pop banger or even take a fun/comedic approach! Everything is allowed in this game, so take this as a chance to embrace your creativity!

 

The game will consist of several rounds, where for every round you will submit a song or poem that fits the criteria of the respective challenge. There will be a judge panel which has the responsibility and compromise to give you feedback on your songs in a respectful way, always with the purpose of making you grow as a writer and finessing your work.

 

 As part of the judge panel, we will have to rank your songs each week to decide who will be the winner of each round as well as making the difficult decision of eliminating somebody.

 

It’s important to note that we will only focus on the lyricism of your song and opinions can be subjective, that doesn’t mean that our opinion is the absolute truth. So please, don’t get discouraged if you don’t get positive reviews right away. That gives you a possibility to grow and I believe that everyone has an amazing song lying within the and we've been waiting for you to finally let it come out. 

 

You don’t have to be an experienced writer to compete. Everyone starts from somewhere, so if you’ve ever had the interest in writing your own songs but have never tried it before. This is the right place for you.

A. Experience is not required to join, and people who have joined with no writing experience in the past have gone on to do well before.

 

Last season, we took off into space to look and adapt to new life forms. This season, we will continue to explore the vast complexity of the universe; from both the mesmerizing and breathtaking aspect of it, as well as the terrifying and helplessness truth of it. Here, everything is new, and you must embrace the unknown and adapt if you want to survive.
