What if Ariana was the blueprint all along though

Or Rih:

Point being: there's nothing unique or game-changing about anything artists are supposedly "copying" from Chromatica. If we apply the same logic Gaga stole from the above examples. Chromatica's specificity lies in the blend of space cliché with industrial inspired looks, décors,... and no one is copying thát so these claims are ridiculous, just like the "Joanne effect" was ridiculous :skull:

I'll admit the Coldplay thing is... poignant, though :deadbanana:

The same?

If anything, Doja offered us a more visually exciting and better designed and executed aesthetic for her one performance than Gaga's entire era :foxaylove3: As if y'all weren't DYING mid era for a performance like that from Gaga :rip:

Just like Joanne was a mediocre trainwreck compared to albums like Music or songs like FourFiveSeconds tbh, which truly blended country stylings with modern classic songwriting and production (which they were specifically praised for, unlike Gaga's album). Gaga never exceeds artistically. For anything she ever did there's a hundred superior iterations of similar ideas, concepts, performances, looks, music video's,... by other artists before or after her and that's the truth, and it's why Gaga's "legacy" will be the meat dress and nothing else in the end :cm:

Coldplay's ninth LP has been in the works since 2019 if not even earlier considering Everyday Life had ten year old songs in it, they had worked with alien concept in 2011's Mylo Xyloto too :gaycat5:

Plus Nicki Minaj has been serving pink-coloured aesthetics for like a decade. Pink aesthetics has always been very popular regardless of Nicki, but of course we're gonna act like it started in February 2020.

Coldplay tho :skull:

I’m not surprised. We all have heard from TONS of artists that they see LeGend as a inspiration, role model and love her music. More than Half of the music industry is her fan.

The fumes, the anger, the obsession to tear down every last thing Gaga ever touched. The passion she causes is legendary.

OT: Yes, this keeps happening, it can't be a coincidence. A pioneer.

I mean isn't Coldplay's entire career based of ripping off other artists?

If she is the blueprint then why have tons of other artists already done the specific desert space vibe before her? :skull: I even posted actual examples but go off. Ari even had an extremely similar backdrop ánd intentionally campy storyline :rip:

If we follow LM logic Ari inspired Gaga for the entire SL music video and accompanying album concept :deadbanana2: Surely you don't agree with that? (I sure don't.) Then why expect other people to agree with the idea that your fav inspired people who didn't need Chromatica whatsoever to make what they did?

Coldplay, for instance, has always played with space as a visual theme and space rock as a musical influence, for example back in 2015:

All the way back to 2005:

Fan have been waiting for years for a similar theme/era now. Literally, y'all are hallucinating.

We don't even need to go back to 2005, Mylo Xyloto was literally a concept album about the world of Silencia and its dystopian government's war against sound and color, they were going to make a movie/series out of it but ended up with a comic since there wasn't enough time

Mylo Xyloto, No. 1: Coldplay, Alejandro Fuentes, Mark Osborne, Arthur Hugot: Amazon.com: Books
