A hit album :clap3: the desperation in this thread of people comparing it to albums with multiple huge collabs, Gaga did that with an almost entirely solo album :jonny5:

'but Witness!!!1!'

we literally had this discussion earlier, Witness had rap collabs and Spotify deal meanwhile Joanne was released at a time when Gaga barely had any songs above 200M on Spotify :rip: not to mention Joanne outsold in pure sales

OT: no I'm not surprised, only ATRL thinks Joanne was a bomb

OGHs at it again, seems like the IFPI thread triggered them:lmao:

OT:

Not so bad for a supposed massive flop. The streams are fairly spread over the album tracks.

Funny how Katy Kats are trying it with Witness when beside her collaborations ,her albums tracks have horrendous streams, some didn't even cross the 10M :skull:

Wow, the bar is SO LOW. The album is FIVE years old and it has this little streams.

Do y'all realize that it has only like 10 million more streams than witness. Or that it only has 100 million more streams than P!nk Beautiful Trauma, an album released almost 2 decade into her career. Or that Eminem's critically panned flop Revival has more streams than this. Or that Melodrama, and album with literally no hit outstreamed this.

And once you factor in the SuperBowl, World Tour, Documentary, Coachella, the 832015 live performances, and the fact that most of its pure sales were sold on discount, this is a huge flop. It's so sad, honestly.

Typing that much just because someones excited about their fave doing well is :clown:

Not bad considering its sound isn't very streaming friendly. The Million Reasons promo really paid off too. It had an inconsistent chart run at the time yet it's now pulling 250k+ daily streams, on par with some of the more "stable" hits in 2016/17. Joanne really set her up for ASIB's success.

It's also a Grammy winning album :clap3:

Expect that it doesn’t  💀 Joanne outsold, outstreamed, out-charted, out-singled and out-Grammyed. You need to stop setting your has-been fav up :rip:
