By this logic, the Beatles were bigger than Harry Styles in 2020. :skull:

More people listened to the Beatles than Harry Styles. That means they were bigger regardless of who had the bigger visibility  :toofunny2:

OT: Maybe Dua isn't as big as Spotify would have us believe. We'll have to see if she keeps growing this year and next.

Her peak? She has many peaks to go.

She has so much untapped potential and success and it shows in her growing daily stats so keep continuing to underestimate her because she will prove people wrong everytime.

This is her peak right now. So unless you have seen future, please stay in present

Not the alleged fad, irrelevant, over since 2011 artist being the 12th biggest (4th among women) artist of the year worldwide :ahh:

Congrats to Dua too, her placement is amazing too and nothing drag worthy :clap3:

Apparently the raport only had 3 which you probably seen, no idea why

Is there a top 20 for the singles list too?

I don’t really understand why people are excusing this as being due to Gaga’s catalogue size when there are artists with monumentally larger catalogues who aren’t here, or artists with similar catalogues who released that didn’t chart as high. Either you have to admit that Chromatica was a clear success, or you have to admit that Gaga’s catalogue is stronger than average. Or both, if we’re being honest. I don’t get why ATRL loathes the idea of Gaga being successful so deeply.

I’m not a Dua stan by any means, but I also find it weird that we’re expecting her to do more that is actually reasonable. Sure she’s got good playlisting, but she’s making a type of music that isn’t as huge right now as it was a decade ago, and she’s making it extremely well. Why can’t we just sit here and at least appreciate that there’s a pop star willing to try to give us the blockbuster pop era of past years? She works hard, she makes great music, she charts just fine for a pop star on her second album - the constant comparisons are a little bit much.

the way only 5 female albums are present in the top 20.... tragic tbh

thank God Billie, Taylor and Dua are smashing in the top10 albums to represent women!

FN is a solo studio album with a solo smash single. Dua doesn’t rely on high profile collaborations and blockbuster movies unlike GaGa. :michael:

Ahhh I’ve heard it all :ahh: :ahh:

Doesn’t her current hit single feature DaBaby (one of the hottest rappers in the game rn?). What about her adding Una Dia and Prisoner on the Moonlight edition? :ahh:

Do you really believe Levitating, a post-album released single, would have kicked off without the release of the remix?

Also...blockbuster movie. As if that’s something drag worthy :toofunny3: Dua is only worthy of being cast in SNL skits :rip:

Yall always using that dumb ass catalog excuse. Billie and Post Malone in late years and tens of other artist throughout history has already proven that u dont need a bigger catalog to outdo the oldies.

If u were moving actual massive units u can outdo them easily. The ones 10+ years in the industry has no business outdoing those in their prime years.

That said Dua still did and is doing incredible. And will most likely have a bigger year this year. While Gaga will fall behind here on forward.

I love how having blockbuster and stronger catalog is being used as a drag here :ahh:

DaBaby is a nobody outside of the states tho yet the song is smashing WW. Gaga’s the one relying on collaborations, BP and Ariana made Chromatica kinda an event for like a week.

The meltdown :dies:

DSN is a massive smash and solo BMH outstreamed ROM on Spotify and YouTube:michael:

What are GaGa’s solo accolades the past few years that aren’t attached to collaborative soundtracks? SL with 240M streams? MR with 500M after 5 years? :rip:

Her songs with features happens to be her biggest commercial appealing songs, is that something hard to understand?:rip: If anything, Stupid Love has bigger Spotify and Youtube debut numbers than any Dua song says a lot about their Star power. Whether the song sticks with the GP or not is another question. Gaga is the bigger star is more powerful, that’s a fact.

When Rihanna is above Gaga on Spotify, NO ONE in here sticking to the ‘catalogue’ argument gives Gaga a pass considering Rihanna’s +2 solo studio projects/double or triple the number of collabs that Gaga has

Yall only bring up catalogues when it’s convenient for your argument. And all it does is reveal how pressed and fuming Gaga makes yall :rip: for what

The success stanning has backfired, pack it up and quit with the excuses. Dua’s position is great unfortunately Gaga outsold her in 2020 according to IFPI. Move on

Thank you! WAP just missing top 10 and Senorita top 20 again

Wonder if we can use the 1:150 ratio to determine how it would look like with their old SPS version.
