It's also getting less daily streams than ANTI, which had a 15k debut. If Ariana's supposed "flop" album's streams are on par with taylor's 1 million debuting album, than I wouldn't say reputation "had GREAT longevity" after all. You wouldn't for sure but i guess numbers do. Reputation units WITHOUT first week sales - 7 million Dangerous woman sales - 6.5 million. Also Reputation is still moving more units than DW in US, even more than Sweetener so saying "how small DW sold compared to Reputation in US in first week but it is doing close to Reputation in Spotify Globally daily" doesn't make sense as well. They have no correlation. But if you wanna compare units in US weekly since you did that for first weeks Reputation - 7.3k Sweetener - 5.7k Dangerous Woman - 5.7k<< 2020 sales Reputation - 314k Sweetener - 301k Dangerous woman - 286k<<
cityfolk Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 the usual culprits running in here to cry and start fights, sad congrats Ari for #1 in 2016, I think she's #1 in 2014 as well. Billie's EP stomping is kinda crazy

Seems like that 1 million debut didn't translate into longevity at all. Also, whenever little monsters convince themselves that Joanne was a success, make sure you let them know that even Fifth Harmony was outselling her. Only 1.1 billion after a superbowl performance, coachella, netflix documentary, victoria secrets, vegas residency, world tour, grammy performance and 48234 other performances, that must be embarrassing... Reputation still has more total units At least try to troll better. I’m shocked at how Billie’s EP out streamed full albums without 3 top 10 hits Her success is very underrated

Letemtalk Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 I’m assuming this includes extended/deluxe releases? Or is this standard releases only? For Lorde: 2013 - Pure Heroine (extended): 2,485,814,053 - rounding up = 2.5B 2017 - Melodrama (12 tracks): 1,602,737,333 - round down = 1.6B

ariananext Posted April 28, 2021 Author Posted April 28, 2021 OP updated, I added many missing albums, however I'm kinda confused about Ellie Goulding's and Nicki Minaj's re-releases.. I don't know what counts for what year, so messy. I added 2012, 2011, 2010, too.

TROJAN Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 Loving Gaga’s consistency in the Top 10 2011: #4 2013: #7 2016: #6 2018: #2 2020: #7
Raf Simons Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Even Gaga's alleged flop albums made it at least to #7 in their respective years? Looks good to me
Kramdashian Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 i wonder if 1989 will ever catch my everything and also wonder just how many streams it would have on spotify had it been available since release
Letemtalk Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 (edited) Is this meant to be solo only or can we have a female led group like Paramore in the list of albums? For 2013: https://chartmasters.org/spotify-most-streamed-albums/?y=2013 Paramore - Paramore (Deluxe Edition) - 1,024,447,702 Hayley Williams sings lead vocals on all the songs, so it's a female album and this puts Paramore at #7 on the 2013 list, just below Ariana.
