Eternium Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 What happened to "Accidental Racist" Brad Paisley's career? He used to be the KING of male-female duets
DivaCup Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 i read a comment on billboard's facebook saying "Kendrick may be #1 this week but next week Incubus is going to be #1" Quote DAMN. likely has one more week at #1 before the showdown between Chris Stapleton and Logic begins on 5/5. Is Logic really that big? I didn't really know

Rentboy Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Ed is about to overtake Drake even on SPS. Then he'll really start to dominate long term. Obviously he's already got him thrashed in pure sales. I see Kendricks pure sales struggling when he gets to around the 500k mark.
liberalmusiclover Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Wow Brad Paisley is flopping. Bruno, Drake, Ed, Kendrick, and Future slaying tho
Tremor Christ Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 (edited) Kendrick's pure sales drop is pretty bad tbh but sales are dead so i think 80% drops are the new 60%-70%s Edited April 26, 2017 by Tremor Christ

Adonis Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 TBQH dedicated stans buy albums these days.... The rest of the public just streams the record otherwise.
Bad Liar Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Very bad numbers for the so called king of rap with a #1 hit Slay Incubus!
TSLGNMA Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 (edited) Kendrick I knew Bruno would serve longevity I'm so glad that these big releases are being checks and balances on each other so we don't have another Views mess like last summer. I'll admit that Views was huge and deserved it's weeks at number one but it became such a bore following the charts. Rooting for Stapleton in a few weeks. And Paramore but they'll probably debut at number 2. Edited April 26, 2017 by TSLGNMA

I would argue that his appeal in this regard is his older fans. Older fans don't purchase music right away on average. They purchase several months after the record has been out. Please explain how doing 235k units in your 2nd week is "very bad." My goodness. Only a few rappers can do that in their debut week.
