I'm so glad that these big releases are being checks and balances on each other so we don't have another Views mess like last summer.   I'll admit that Views was huge and deserved it's weeks at number one but it became such a bore following the charts. 

 

Rooting for Stapleton in a few weeks. And Paramore but they'll probably debut at number 2.

I would argue that his appeal in this regard is his older fans. Older fans don't purchase music right away on average. They purchase several months after the record has been out.
