Rentboy Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 When an artist's been around a while they will build up a solid fanbase. Which then can lead to a big debut. This is not a hard concept to grasp. And then often followed by a drastic plummet. Album sales are a marathon not a sprint. We all know Stapleton will win the ultimate race.

I wouldn't be so sure Logic's last two albums went gold easily & his streaming numbers/sales are far bigger this time. Chris had a boost from Grammys & acclaim, that's not garunteed this time lol
fridayteenage Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 traveller: 1.9 million US sales what's logic's previous album sales?

ECNEICSNOC Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 I haven't paid attention to Logic since Under Pressure and I had no idea he'd gotten so big

Bad Wolf Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Great for Logic! And good Chris numbers. Both great albums.
ClashAndBurn Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Expected more from Stapleton. Those numbers are actually really meh. Logic's numbers are truly impressive though.

Tremor Christ Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 (edited) Logic is kind of the guy who has a cult following but no one really cares about him other than his fan base. Think about a more exclusive (to the GP) Twenty One Pilots. 23 hours ago, Heart.me said: Bruno Mars (Atlantic) 40-45k, 18-21k This is wild *Bruno outselling Ed Sheeran Edited May 10, 2017 by Tremor Christ
