Funny how his impact doesn't seem to help his every appearance like MOM

DaBaby is huge and his impact is real, but the thing is the difference in performance... The fact that his power is already included in those atrocious MOM peaks  :deadbanana4: Camila would've done Living Proof numbers without him I fear.

I think it's also because of the multiple Levitating Remixes compared to one and only version of the other songs.. it felt more like a MOM Hit than New Rules..

also, the top10 after Christmas was really WEAK.. aside from 3songs, everything is under 200points :rip:

It's the same for everyone.

- Charts are relative. A #4 on sales is a #4. There is no excuse for a pop radio #1 to peak at #26.

- nearly 13 million streams (right now when streaming is so weak) vs what? 8M maybe?

- #6 on the Hot 100 with 80M radio vs #12 with 120M radio.

- A remix of a 10 month old song vs a brand new single.

You must've forgotten about the Gunna version also :rip:

I've never even heard of this Olivia girl or the song :skull:

Ah well I'm going to enjoy being a boomer that only listens to music from the early 2000s.

I guess whatever narrative helps you sleep at night....

But funny how you would give him the credit when he has barely acknowledged the song after its release week while Dua has been the one promoting it.

Funny how his impact doesn't seem to help his every appearance like MOM or most recently Coco.

And funny how his impact didn't help his own songs at all after Rockstar.

:coffee2:

it's misogyny, especially with DaBaby acknowledged this song ONCE and yet he gets all the credit.....

anyway, congrats to olivia and sza on their first solo t10s.

women to peak this decade with multiple solo t10s so far: taylor, ariana, billie. one born from each decade. mayhap olivia and sza can join this year.

Levitating has now spent 3 weeks in the top 10. This is Dua's second song from her last studio album to achieve this :clap3:

Dua is doing so amazingly with Levitating :jonny4:

I personally don't see the appeal of this drivers licence song (maybe I should give it a few more listens?), but congrats to Olivia :clap3:

I don’t think DaBaby is the main reason Levitating is a hit, it’s one of the best pop songs ever BUT it is interesting that everyone’s getting upset about this when ATRL did the same thing to Camila with Young Thug in Havana. She performed it solo over and over again because he kept getting arrested ( :deadbanana:) right before a performance and he only showed up to the Grammys a year after it peaked and ignored the single as a whole it’s entire chart run.

Happy for Dua, Abel and SZA :jonny:

I hope that Good Days can magically go #1 in the coming weeks but seems unlikely

Unless BB lowers the multipliers significantly BL should stay ahead of Smooth. If BB does reduce them, I think UF would move back above Circles but BL is probably #2 to stay now. The Twist is WAY ahead of Smooth though. I think Pulse has TT 300k+ points above Smooth.

Does anyone think that Weekend might release a BL remix with Drake to perform at the Super Bowl? I've thought about it, but I don't know what they'll actually do.
