Metacritic is the worst source of sales

From the age of streams, his estimates no longer make sense

Adele 25

IFPI:

2015 Shipments: 17,4 million

2016: Shipments: 2,4 million

Total 2015 + 2016: 19,8 million

Mediatraffic sales estimations:

2015: 14.970.000

2016: 4.668.000

Total sales (2015 + 2016) = 19.638.000

Their total estimations for 25 are almost on point though :clap3:

Queen Adele selling almost all her shipments :alexz:

With the 2017 sales 25 is already over 20 million

For example, joanne had a week where it sold 4k in us and 30k outside the us

It didn't make any sense. Joanne was out of the top 20 of all charts in the world

It's already out, but you have to pay like $2,000 to see the full report with the top 50 albums & top 20 singles :rip:

Beyoncé snatched , but I thought she was global and Lemonade was a nonevent ? It outselling 25 is very telling since everyone claimed that last year it was no contest(not in overall sales obviously)

:clap3:

iirc 25 shipped more than 17 million in 2015 alone, but (according to mediatraffic but still) sold 14,9 million, so another 2,4 million shipped, but 4,5 million sold in 2016 actually makes perfect sense :flower:

edit: king @Green already figured it out :2ndplace:

Growth per region

Australia + Asia = +5.1%

Europe = +4.0%

Latin America =+12.0%

North America = +7.9%

Impressed by latin America growth. Latin artists are definitely growing due to streaming especially youtube
