She tried it with some "purposeful pop" nonsense branding when the rest of Witness era and everything else that followed CTTR had literally nothing to do with political or social messaging Meanwhile, the album that you're trying to throw this dumb and cheap drag attempt at is by an artist who has been vocal about the debilitating effects of intense fame on mental health of celebrities since day ONE. It's why the critics lauded it as a sincere and genuine effort unlike CTTR and Witness. Songs like Fun Tonight, 911, Replay all touch on those topics. At least pay close attention to the lyrics and themes on both before trying to drag and end up looking like a complete fool. OT: It was an insincere attempt at woke-pandering which is why it fell flat after release. She herself knows it. Edited Thursday at 01:09 AM by Marry Illusion Glory

I blame her fans. Ya’ll told her she was woke. I remember that time in 2016 when Katy fans were calling her the wokest white pop girl then the witness era happened flashback to a couple months ago when she endorsed her father's pro-trump site her telling people to forgive their racist family members I know she genuinely means well but she needs to understand that this whole olive branch kumbaya **** doesn't work out many times when it comes to dealing with racists and homophobes. I like Katy but she gives me major vibes.
