Bieber had a major influence on the song being a US* hit, but it looked like it would've been a top 40 hit anyway in the US. People need to not act like it wasn't charting before Bieber came in.

thsts not the point though,  what I was trying to say is  you are correcting lyrics to what should be said in proper grammar terms. I don't know the song well enough and if the lyrics as posted vs what is sung, are wrong or if you felt they needed to be properly grammar fixed.  Basically I was saying, most actual song lyrics, don't follow proper grammar and shouldn't be corrected to proper grammar.  If the lyrics posted were wrong as sung  then so be it, and they should be corrected to what is actually sung.

Well, what he posted is not what they're singing in the song. Moreover the verbes in those two lines are in infinitive, that's it.

Why would they do a video? The original is already as massive as it gets. There's no need for another one. Bieber is lazy, there were no videos for Cold Water, LMLY, Love Yourself etc. he won't do a video for something that's already smashing unless Scooter forces him

it only needs radio to become a multi weeks #1 hit and that will happen regardless of another video

Well I don't know how many views it gets from the US, but if it's not so much I think that would be the reason for them to get a new video with Justin. But I might be just guessing.

 

Also, I don't know, I want Bruno to snatch at least one week as "Starboy" did but my gut is telling me that Ed will get it. I also do have a feeling that this/next week could be the last two for "That's What I Like" to atop the chart.
