Agree so much! It's by far his best album, and it would be a shame if he only did like 6 songs of this style.

Midnight Sky had a good music video, some of the visuals & effects were great. Physical & 911 are both very solid picks, I'd say they're in my 2020 highlights as well :clap3: Both EPs :date: IN A DREAM is especially amazing, Troye can do no wrong for me!

Physical and 911 were definitely my top music videos of the year too. Like, the first ones that were in my mind.

8. Jessie Ware - What's Your Pleasure

Jessie_Ware_%E2%80%93_What's_Your_Pleasu

The production on this is amaaaazing. A really good listen from start to finish.

7. Georgia - Seeking Thrills

I have huge respect for Georgia, she is insanely talented. This album contains some huge bops, so you should definitely give it a chance if you're a pop music maniac.

4. Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande - Rain On Me

I feel like this was the biggest event in pop music this year, but also the one with the most conflicting reviews/opinions. I am not really a fan of Ariana, but I feel she was essential in the song and added so much to it. This duo managed to serve one of the best feel-good anthems I can remember, that carries the most relevant message for the year we went through: no matter how bad things are going, I will keep fighting and working on my happiness. I could spend another paragraph writing about how relevant this has been to my life, but I will try to stay in topic. Long story short, this song was there for me when I felt like ****, and I love it so so much.

6. Miley Cyrus - Plastic Hearts

Miley_Cyrus_-_Plastic_Hearts.png

I still can't believe she managed to serve something so good. Definitely her best album. She seems to have found her sound, image, identity, so I hope she keeps exploring the pop/rock field in next eras.

Highlights: Midnight Sky, Night Crawling, Gimme What I Want

5. Rina Sawayama - SAWAYAMA

Sawayama-album-cover.jpg

Rina is the best new artist in my opinion. She is already not scared to do something totally unique, experiment and differ, so I believe she has crazy potential. This album has some of the most interesting productions and melodies I have heard in years.

Highlights: Who's Gonna Save U Now, Akasaka Sad, STFU!

PH and sawayama:alexz: both excellent albums

plastic hearts is a good improvement in miley's discography :clap3:

sawayama :jonny5: already a classic i fear!

Omg both of these :jonny5::jonny5::jonny5: Both were in my top 3 albums so obviously I love them a ton! Absolute excellence overflowing with standout tracks. Midnight Sky, Gimme What I Want, Akasaka Sad in your faves :smitten:

it was sooo close to top5. I think if it was released earlier, it might have been there.

4. Allie X - Cape God

Cape%20God_Allie%20X.jpg

Allie is one of my favorite artists, and I feel like this is her magnum opus so far. Very cohesive, atmospheric and emotional.

Highlights: Super Duper Party People, Susie Save Your Love, Regulars

3. Kylie Minogue - DISCO

disco_kylie%20minogue.jpg

Kylie definitely served one of the best albums of her career. This is all EXCELLENT. A must for people who live for pop music. She reminded us to never stop stanning.

Highlights: Say Something, Real Groove, Miss A Thing

Merry Christmas everyone! Guesses for the top2? (It's not that hard)

2. Lady Gaga - Chromatica

EUwFIvEX0AkfTpV.jpeg?resize=1021,1024&ss

Maybe this would have been #3 instead of #2, but I am so emotionally attached that I couldn't let it happen. Besides 1 or 2 songs that are not it, this album is pure fire. I adore the combination of upbeat music with sad, dark lyrics, and yes, this definitely carried me through this awful year. I am hoping for at least one more video and for the tour to happen.

Highlights: 911, Rain On Me, Replay

1. Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia

763?appId=93a17a8fd81db0de025c8abd1cca12

Not only the best pop album in recent memory, but also the most exciting, enjoyable era in a decade. She served really really hard and this will be remembered for years.

Highlights: Physical, Love Again, Cool

Thank you all so much for keeping an eye on this stupid list and leaving your comments. I wish you a wonderful 2021 full of love and light.

Chromatica is nice  My least favorite main album from her but it's definitely not anywhere near bad. Future Nostalgia is obviously really great and Cape God was my AOTY sooo :alexz: Your Allie & Gaga trinities are FANTASTIC, and Physical in your Dua highlights :worship:

Great Best Of overall :foxaylove: Wishing you a wonderful 2021 as well!

I don't like 911 very much :rip: idk why they chose to make that single (although I guess they didn't really promote it anyway)

Future Nostalgia :katie2: Physical and LA are bops and Cool is kinda underrated too imo

Disco is great too, although I can't help wishing she had a little more variety in the tracks
