It's that time of the year again. 2020 has been SUCH A YEAR in pop music. I had a really hard time picking my 50 favorite songs. After this list is announced, I might do a short list of my favorite albums of the year, too. As always, please tell me what you think about these songs, any nice memories or experiences you have with those, and most importantly, any suggestions you might have about artists, albums or songs that are similar to the ones I post. Taylor Swift - this is me trying I have never been a big fan of Taylor, but to be honest, I really enjoyed this album. This is one of the songs that made me cry when I first heard it. 49. Shygirl - FREAK This one makes me feel like a wild h*e. It's also one of the favorite songs of one of my best friends, and I can't wait to dance to this with him soon. :( 48. Cardi B ft. Megan Thee Stallion - WAP Again, major slutty anthem. The lyrics are so ridiculous they almost sound genius. 47. Astrid S - Dance Dance Dance This is one of the songs that sound kinda bland at first listen, but get stuck in your head after a while. It's really catchy and it made me wanna dance, dance, dance, even when I was at my saddest. 46. Zella Day - People Are Strangers I mean, the bridge and outro alone... I saw her announcement just when I had published the first songs from the list, so I guess I can't change it, but still I hope she will serve some cute songs again! I come from Greece, and this automatically means I am a sucker for this kind of mindless, chill reggaeton bops. It puts me in an exotic mood, shall I say? 44. J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, Tainy - UN DIA (ONE DAY) Quite the same as the song above. I have to admit it was not what I was expecting from Dua and Bad Bunny, who were two of my favorite artists of the year, so I was disappointed at first. However, it turned out to be a grower. It's catchy and it stands out from other mainstream songs of this genre. 43. Kim Petras - Party Till I Die Another choice that will probably get me dragged, but I love this song and I love Kim Petras. What can I do? 42. C. Tangana - Demasiadas Mujeres Quality. This one got me from the very first listen. Really unique. 41. Aly & AJ - Slow Dancing This is extremely recent, but I fell in love with it instantly. It gives me such a warm feeling. So so cute.
