luckystrike Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 Welcome to my final update!!! #4 Spoiler At #4 we got It Was Divine by Alina Baraz, it's a super underrated R&B record that I was OBSESSED with, her voice is so smooth and her production is just so ethereal, its only flaw is that it is a bit too long, 2 or 3 songs could've been cut and it would've been immaculate! Spoiler Kicking off the Top 3 of 2020 we got Jessie Ware, this record is soooo fun and sexy and just so amazing, the dark nu disco vibes she acheived were exceptional and truly a highlight of the year. Spoiler This year's runner-up spot goes to Kylie's DISCO! Not gonna lie, this was my AOTY when it came out but when I was making my list, comparing it to my AOTY, it kinda didn't stand a chance. I've been a huge Kylie fan since I was little and this album felt like a return to the Kylie I grew up loving. And of course, my AOTY goes to... Spoiler Wow, another f word with FN as his AOTY This album is truly something else, the thing I enjoyed the most about this era has been her evolution, she's evolved so much in every single aspect and she's become such a force to be reckoned with, I couldn't be more proud of her Spoiler Spoiler And OF COURSE, my SOTY goes to... Spoiler I F*CKING HATE HER GUTS THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Exhausted of these album delays.... but anyways, this song was truly my SOTY, with over 450 plays it takes the cake by a landslike. To me it has not aged a single bit and there's just something about the minimalistic production and video that just gets me. In my 2019 Best of, All the Time was my SOTY, and I remember I said something like "I'm gonna reserve the #1 AOTY spot for Zara next year"..... well she got SOTY again but still no album so I'm not gonna reserve anything for her next year!
